Day 2 : Negombo - Pinnawela - Sigiriya (B/D)

After breakfast, we will travel to Sigiriya. On the way, we will visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage.
Pinnawela, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including baby elephants brought from various parts, as well as some of the more than 25 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme.
Afterwards, continue travelling to Sigiriya, home to the 5th century Rock Fortress, also known as "Lion Rock".
Spend the afternoon discovering the fortress.

Day 3 : Polonnaruwa - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya (B/D)

Today we will travel to Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura after breakfast. The medieval capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th - 13th C.A.D. Great revival was achieved in the country, politically, economically and socially during the period of Kings Vijayabahu 1, Parakramabahu 1 and Nissankamalla of the Polonnaruwa period.
After lunch, we will visit the impressive ruins of Anuradhapura, the largest and oldest of Sri Lanka's ancient cities, dating back to the 6th century.
Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 4 : Sigiriya - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy (B/D)
