A 'MUST' whilst you're there?

"There are so many stunning temples, shrines and castles to view across Japan. Each is just as beautiful as the last, definitely see as many as you can as they’re all so unique."

@b_adventures1's Top Tips

"There are so many bustling cities to visit across Japan. Try to visit as many as you can. I recommend Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto for your first visit. Trains between each location make them so accessible."

What is your favourite time of day?

"Make sure to explore the streets of Japan at night as they come alive with neon signs."

What are your ‘must-eat’ meals?

@_lisamward_'s Top Tips

"The best time to arrive at this top tourist attraction in the city is just before sunrise. Avoid the bustling crowds that will emerge later in the day for a more peaceful experience."

What do you love most about Inari Shrine?

"It's something completely unique and awe-inspiring. Walking through the colourful shrines with the rising sun breaking through the trees was the perfect way to start my day!"

Must pack items for Inari Shrine

"Comfortable walking shoes! There are many, many stairs to scale to the top of the trail so flip flops won't cut it."

Benefits of a tour guide for Inari Shrine

"There's an abundance of history to this attraction, as well as a couple of paths less trodden on by tourists, so a guide is brilliant for shedding light on these for a more enriching visit."

Favourite time of year to visit Inari Shrine

"Late autumn - Kyoto is very busy, but late autumn is slightly more manageable, and it makes for a more comfortable walk up all the thousands of stairs."

A 'MUST' whilst you're there?

"Join in the fun and get a Mikuji - fortunes you can purchase for 100 Yen."

What do you love most about Sensō-ji?

A 'MUST' whilst you're there?

"Paying a visit to the Great Buddha is an absolute must. It is just so majestic! But temple hopping in lesser-known places is also wonderful to discover hidden gems away from the crowds."
