How much time do I need here?
"It takes 6-8 hours to hike here, or you could cable car it. You need around 30 mins on the plank there and back. The park closes at 7 pm with no option but to walk back if you miss the last bus."
Was 'The Plank' safe?
"Yes and no. You have a 180-degree drop to climb to reach 'The Plank'. The plank is narrow and you're basically relying on two ropes. However, if you go when there are fewer people (end of the day) it's fine."

"Bring comfortable hiking attire, an overnight bag, yuan (cash), water and snacks (although you can buy food along the way in one of the many guesthouses), a sunhat, sunscreen and a camera!"
