Tour Overview
One of the best ways to explore Tibet would be to enroll oneself in Tibet Overland Tour as it is a wonderful tour in the isolated realms of Tibet. It is designed especially to give tourists and trekkers the chance to explore and discover more about the mystic land of Tibet. Tibet has long remained isolated from the outer world because of its religious leanings. Tibet Overland Tour, therefore, provides a wonderful opportunity for travel enthusiasts from across the globe to travel around Tibet, and observe its ancient monasteries, monuments and Gompas. Tibet exploration also makes it possible to viewpano the ramic mountain vistas including Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain peak, and other mountains like Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse and Mount Cho Oyu. Tibet Overland Tour is a special tour package carefully designed for 8 days. During the course of the Tour package, visitors will mostly explore the Capital city of Lhasa, popular for the monasteries and monuments it possesses. There in Lhasa, you will visit the majestic Potala Palace famous worldwide for its great architecture and historical importance. In addition to the grand Potala Palace, you will also come across another popular Drepung Monastery, Barkhor market area, city area of Gyantse, Tashilhump Monastery, among other places and monuments. Constructed back in the 17th century, Potala Palace is an amazing human creation as it draws hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. Many people come to Tibet just to witness the beauty of the great Palace. It also contains the private quarters of the Dalai Lama. The 8-day Tibet Overland Tour begins from the Capital city of Kathmandu when you will spend three day in the Nepali Capital enjoying sightseeing tour around the old Valley which includes many monuments, temples and also the world heritages. From Kathmandu, you will then drive to Syabrubesi from where you will be slowly driving to Lhasa, the Tibetan Capital. During the course of the next week, you will be exploring the important places in Lhasa and Tibet and also fully enjoy the rare trip to Tibet—also commonly known as the roof of the world.
