Day 2 : Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (200km/ 4hr approx.)

Day 3 : Kaziranga National Park

Rise early for an enchanting Elephant Safari, delving into the heart of Kaziranga's central range. Witness the diverse flora and fauna, including the majestic Great One-horned Rhinoceros. Later, explore the eastern range on a thrilling jeep safari, and in the evening, embark on another safari in the Western Range, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the park.
Day 4 : Kaziranga - Majuli (150km/ 4hr approx.)

Travel to Nimathi-Ghat and cross the mighty Brahmaputra on a local ferry, reaching Majuli, the world's largest river island. Immerse yourself in the unique culture of the Mishing tribe, exploring local villages. Engage with a skilled mask-maker, and later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a guesthouse or homestay, soaking in the local hospitality.
Day 5 : Majuli – Jorhat – Dimapur – Benreu
Location: Dimapur
Transfer to Kamalabari Ghat for a scenic ferry ride to Jorhat. Board a day train to Dimapur, offering scenic views along the way. On arrival, your driver will take you to Benreu, a Zeliang Naga village. Experience the rugged beauty of the terrain, making brief stops to appreciate the local culture. In the evening, enjoy a stroll in the village and share stories around a bonfire with your host family.
Day 6 : Benreu
Location: Peren
Experience a day at leisure in Benreu. Visit the skilled wild animal hunters, learn about their hunting expeditions, and explore a traditional morung, an informal institute preserving history and culture. Embark on a hike to Mt. Pauna, offering stunning views. Conclude the day by participating in the preparation of a local dinner, contributing to an immersive cultural experience. Overnight in a homestay or community cottage.
Day 7 : Benreu – Poilwa – Dzuleke
Location: Peren
Begin the day with a picturesque walk through the village, followed by a drive to Poilwa village. The drive offers breathtaking views, and on arrival, enjoy a sumptuous local lunch. Afterward, embark on a jungle hike, experiencing the flat gradients and lush surroundings. Reach Dzuleke village before dusk, check into your homestay, and engage in conversations with your hosts about their community-based tourism initiatives and conservation efforts.
Day 8 : Dzuleke – Khonoma
Location: Kohima
Today's journey takes you to Khonoma, known as the first green village of the country. Explore the village, including age-group houses, morungs, and interact with cane basket weavers. Choose between a nature walk, discovering herbal plants and organic vegetables, or a picnic lunch in a terrace field where you actively participate in cooking your meal. Spend the night in a homestay, cherishing the tranquility of Khonoma.
Day 9 : Khonoma - Dimapur (95km/ 3-4hr drive)
