Excellent Alaitol Safaris

15-Aug-2024

We wre a group of 2 families with adult children and we did a 7-day safari with Alaitol Safaris including Tarangiri, Lake Natron, Northern and Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was a perfectly organized mid-range safari stays in lodges and tented camps. The completeness of the safari allowed us to see everything from the big five to the pleasant alternative of Lake Natron with flamingos and swimming in a waterfall. Abel assisted us impeccably in the organization and perfect choice of stages and stays. In 8 people we had 2 jeeps, one for the parents and one for the children. The guides were always impeccable and ready to respond to every request and resolve any inevitable, unexpected events in these contexts. Isaya the parents' guide was a perfect organizer of all the movements, exceptional driver, very knowledgeable about all the animal species we saw and perfect in choosing the positions with the jeep to see these natural spectacles (we saw the crossing of the Mara river for the great migration, a leopard, cheetahs and all the other big five including the rhino which is more difficult to see in these parts). Simon, the boys' guide, was very empathetic with them and made them have a lot of fun, creating a real friendship. A special mention for our chef Dullah who truly pampered us (italians very attentive to food) with all sorts of delicacies from breakfast to lunch (always hot and served at the table even in the most remote areas of the parks) to dinner. Particularly pleasant was being able to celebrate the birthday of one of the group complete with cake, candles and happy birthday songs from all the staff. Thank you Alaitol Safari for all this and for this unforgettable experience. ...more ...less

Elia was an excellent tour guide

19-Sep-2024

Elia was an excellent tour guide and we would recommend Alaitol Safaris to anyone looking to explore the wildlife in Tanzania! We did 7 days, 6 night safari (1 day in Arusha and safari for the rest of the time at Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater). Mary planned our trip and she was very easy to work with, and quick to respond. Elia was an excellent guide, we spent 6 full days with him. We saw the big 5, and the great migration wildebeest crossing twice(!), and every animal we hoped to see and more. Elia is very knowledgeable about the history of the parks and animals within and speaks very clear English. He even has extensive information about the birds in the parks. He was also very accommodating suggesting slight changes to our plan to increase our odds of seeing the River crossing or Rhinos. He’s an excellent driver. We always felt safe in the car even when the road conditions weren’t ideal. We had a flat in the Serengeti and he was super quick to fix it. Hot lunch every day was delicious, which isn’t guaranteed by all safaris. Food was very good. Will be recommending Alaitol Safaris and Elia in the future! ...more ...less

Most Memorable Experience

02-Nov-2024

We had booked our dream safari with Serengeti Alaitol Safaris many months back and were suppose to travel in July 2024, but due to some issues with my daughter's passport we couldn't make it in July. Alaitol Safaris were very kind and allowed us to change the dates for October of this year. Abel who was handling the whole tour made sure of all the arrangements of our trip. Everything was meticulously was arranged which allowed for our special diet and also we need only one room with three beds which was also taken care of very brilliantly. From the day we arrived Abel and Andrew, our safari guide, ensured we would have an incredible experience. What we experienced was beyond of what we expected in the safari. There was nothing that was disappointing. Definitely we made good friend with our guide Andrew and also definitely we shall use Abel at Alaitol Safaris again for the safari to Tanzania ...more ...less
