After breakfast you will be picked up at 09:30am for Stone Town tour. A guided Stone Town Tour takes you through narrow streets of the old Stone Town, where history seems to stand still. Visit the major monuments such as the Old Fort, built on the site of an earlier Portuguese church; the house of wonder, a large ceremonial palace built by Sultan Barghash; Christ Church Anglican Cathedral commemorating the work of David Livingston in abolishing the slave trade and built on the site of the last slave market; the residence of the slave trader Tippu Tip; the Hamamni and other Persian baths and Fred Mercury House. Together with the narrow, winding street pattern. In particular Stone town’s is also marked by being the site where slave-trading was finally terminated. Thereafter we will return to the hotel for lunch, before taking you to the Spice Tour.
Discovery of spices, fruits, coconut climbing, and test some of Zanzibar fruits. This tour enables one to see, test and smell various types of spices and fruits. Cardamon, nut mug, turmeric roots actually grown in the plantations. Other tropical fruits such as Jack fruit, custard apple and carambola can also be seen and tested. Furthermore you will see plants like henna bush, lipstick tree and lemon grass, ornamental plants and herbs. Then we will drive back to Serena Inn Hotel / or alternative for dinner and overnight

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up at 08:00am, and drive you to Fumba for safari blue, experience the best boat excursion in Zanzibar, departure from the village of Fumba in South west of Zanzibar and we will take you to see the Sandbanks, islands and coral reefs of Menai bay, a beautiful conservation area. Safari Blue is a full day trip and includes top quality snorkeling equipment with guide and instructors, a delicious Zanzibar seafood lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster gastronomic, fruit tasting and coffee. We round the day off by returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, You will be picked up at 07:00am and drive to Kizimkazi fishing village for a Dolphin Tour, after arriving we will take a Fiber boat and start searching for dolphins, if we are lucky we can use 5 minutes cruising on search of dolphins. After swimming with dolphins we will go to shallow water for snorkeling before getting back to the beach where we can have a lunch and a bit of beach leisure. After beach leisure we will drive to Jozani Forest to see the Red Colubus Monkeys and visit the floating mangrove bridge. Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative. A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer. After the tour we drive back to your hotel.

Yes, most children absolutely love the safari experience, if they are old enough to fully benefit from what is a holiday of a lifetime. There can be nothing better than for children to be so close to our amazing wildlife, so much better than watching it on TV or merely reading a book about it. And of course, we at Alaitol Safaris can advise on child-friendly accommodations and ensure that you get a family- friendly room. It is essential to be realistic, however. A safari involves a lot of driving over rough terrain, and we would not recommend a safari trip for children under 3 years old.

Everything was great from start to finish! Both Mary and Florida answered all our questions and ensured a smooth trip planning process. Mohamed was an exceptional guide! Knowledgeable, flexible, patient, and kind throughout our vacation. We felt safe and comfortable. The hotel was exactly what needed. This is our second time in Zanzibar.we have been here before the covid time.Some years back we stayed in Nugwi beach,It was a nice and beautiful beach but with so much pressure from the beach boys selling everythingOur second visit we decided to stay in this beautiful calm beach with very few hotels, restaurants.
Dongwe is less crowded with tourists and the locals.Its our second time booking all our tours and transfers with Alaitol Safaris. Everything went smoothly from first to the end . I highly recommend booking all your tours with Alaitol Safaris.
