Day 1 : Arrive in Mumbai

Namaste and welcome to India! On the day of arrival at Mumbai Airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : At Mumbai

After breakfast at the hotel, head towards the Gateway of India, an iconic landmark overlooking the Arabian Sea. Spend some time taking photos and enjoying the view. Walk to the nearby Mumbai Harbor and catch a ferry to Elephanta Island. The ferry ride takes about an hour, providing scenic views of the Mumbai coastline.
Arrive at Elephanta Island and explore the magnificent Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These ancient rock-cut caves date back to the 5th to 8th centuries and feature intricately carved sculptures and temples dedicated to various Hindu deities, primarily Lord Shiva. Later return to Mumbai via ferry.
Once back in Mumbai, head to Prince of Wales Museum, you can find interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization here. Later visit Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi.
After that Visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Victorian-Gothic architecture. Take a moment to appreciate the intricate details of this historic railway station.
In the evening, explore the vibrant Colaba Causeway, a bustling street lined with shops, boutiques, and street vendors. This is a great place to shop for souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, and more. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai.
Day 3 : Mumbai to Diu (By Flight) - Gir National Park (70 Km - 2 Hours Drive)

Enjoy both morning & evening game drives at Gir National Park - one of the highly popular protected areas, and the only home to regal Asiatic Lions. Gir National Park is known for boasting an impressive range of exotic flora and fauna. The flora of Gir national park majorly encompasses dry and deciduous forests. Gir is home to more than five hundred lions and three hundred leopards. The cat family has a major habitat in the park. The which is Indian originated is also found here. Other than that, Jackal, Hyena, Indian fox and Sambar deer reside here. Other than the Asiatic lion, if any animal steals the limelight, then it is Chowsingha (four-horned antelope). This is the only place in the world where this kind of antelope resides. More species that can be found in the park are chinkara, wild boar, nilgai, chital, mongoose, honey badger, desert cats, rusty spotted cats, porcupine, and a hare. Apart from the mammals, the park has a large population of marsh crocodile or mugger that is among the 40 species of reptiles and amphibians recorded in the sanctuary. Gir National Park is also a paradise for bird watchers with a check-list of more than 250 birds. For this reason, the park remains filled with wildlife lovers all the year round. Day 5 : Gir National Park to Diu (70 Km - 2 Hours Drive) - Nagpur (By Flight)

Enjoy both morning & evening park safari inside Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Get ready for safari drives before sunrise as vehicles have to report at entrance gate to enter early in the morning. As per safari guides, early morning hours are the best time for tiger sighting so first two hours are crucial in safari drives. Bandhavgarh national park is known for being home to as many as 150 avifauna species. Some of the wildlife attractions at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve are: tiger, spotted deer, leopards, sambhar, wild boar, sloth bear etc. Some of the birds encountered during game drives are: Pulm Headed Parakeet, Jungle Babbler, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, White Throated Kingfisher, Black Drango, Racket Tailed Drango, Crested Serpent Eagle, Greater Coucal, Red Necked Vulture, White Rumped Vulture etc. Also visit Bandhavgarh Fort, located inside the park. Bandhavgarh Fort is placed on a hill, this fort is around 811 meters above the sea level, and it has a total of 39 caves. It is believed that this fort is 2000-years old. Day 10 : Bandhavgarh - Jabalpur (170 Km - 4 Hours Drive) & Departure
Location: Jabalpur, Bandhavgarh National Park
