We travel through a relatively new wine region of Padthaway towards the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves to learn of the fossil discoveries of Mega Fauna that make this site so internationally important.

We then travel into the scenic Coonawarra wine region recognised as one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon regions of the world. After sampling some local wines from this highly awarded region we continue on to out overnight destination, Mt Gambier.

Our journey then takes us through Warrnambool and Allansford in the heart of diary country and home of Australia’s oldest diary processing plant.

We then start the Great Ocean Road with the impressive limestone stacks of the Bay of Martyrs and Bay of Islands. We then visit London Bridge and ‘Loch Ard Gorge’, the site of the most famous 19th century Australian shipwreck. We retell the entire story from the calm voyage, the tragic wreck, the courageous survivors and their ultimate fate. While hearing the tale you will be able to see and hold some original artefacts, photos and documents from the ‘Loch Ard’ contained in our treasure chests.

We then discover one of Australia’s icons, the Twelve Apostles. We explain the creation of these limestone stacks and the constant wearing away of this coastline. Load your camera – there will be plenty of photo opportunities! You will also have the opportunity to fly high above the coastline, viewing the apostles from a helicopter (own expense).

Our journey then takes us into the Otway National Park and through to Apollo Bay and Skenes Creek where we arrive at your villa style accommodation set high on a hill with great views overlooking the Southern Ocean. These private villas set within native forest offer the perfect environment to relax and unwind.
Tonight’s dinner is at the award-winning ‘Chris’ at Beacon Point’. This modern, Greek-Australian restaurant is a famous attraction in the area as well as being a superb restaurant with incredible views. The extensive menu has seen Chris’ awarded a ‘Chefs hat’ and is well known as the best dining experience along the coast.

After breakfast at Chris's, our first stop is within the Otway National Park at ‘Maits Rest’. This is a 1km walk through a cool temperate rainforest gully discovering trees and ferns that date back millions of years to times when dinosaurs roamed this part of the world.
We then turn towards Melbourne and travel along a very scenic section of the Great Ocean Road en route to Kennett River for a fantastic viewing of wild Koalas in their native setting. We also visit many scenic spots for photos and tell numerous stories behind the making of the road. We stop for lunch at the largest of the seaside villages, Lorne. This popular tourist town is full of restaurants and cafes and boasts great shopping and swimming beaches. After lunch, we drive along the surf coast and take in the surf culture of the region with a visit to Torquay and Bells Beach. We also visit Anglesea Golf Club where we will hopefully see Kangaroos in their natural environment.
Our journey then takes us through the historic gateway to the Great Ocean Road, Geelong. We have some afternoon tea along the re-designed waterfront before turning to Melbourne. All the sites along the Great Ocean Road were picturesque our pick of them would be The 12 Apostles.

Highly recommended

15-Feb-2023

This was our first time to Australia and we saw & learned so much in four packed days. Pierre was amazing, a non-stop stream of information on just about anything. I was constantly asking questions and never had one that he didn’t have the answer for. For example, while on the road between stops, I asked about the indigenous peoples of Australia and got a half hour thorough (and sometimes sad) lecture on their history. The hotels and included meals were first rate. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Great Ocean Road tour

15-Feb-2022

The 3-day Great Ocean Road tour from Melbourne to Adelaide was fabulous! I had Pierre, an amazing tour guide, and two lovely funny ladies as tour mates in this small group tour. Pierre shared his knowledge and experience about places and plants in a very interesting way. We had multiple stopovers to appreciate the scenic views, walk in small charming towns, hear interesting stories, smelt some plants, ate some wild fruits. The accommodations were comfortable, especially the big hill top villa that I stayed in Apollo Bay is scenic with sea view and green. We had nice meals at small little restaurants. The arrangements were well thought and organized. The covid situation caused some restaurants close and some places become quiet but it didn’t affect much. The journey was relaxing, offered much to see and experience. This was my most memorable Great Ocean Road trip, was so different from the few day tours that I did in the past. Thanks Pierre for making this holiday awesome! Well done!

A must do experience

02-Mar-2023

We took this tour under recommendation of our travel agent. I can’t say enough of how wonderful a time we had. Our guide,Jeremy was confident, informed and such a great man. My wife uses a wheelchair and Jeremy went above and beyond to help us. The ride was more than comfortable. Lots of sights and picture taking opportunities. Accommodations were superb .Meals well worth it. We both had a great time and felt we had made a friend by the end of the tour. Thank you again Jeremy.

Remember this is a road trip - a rare company that cares

31-Jan-2023

I'll start by saying there is a good bit of riding, especially the last day. If your driver is a good as ours, Eddie, you will have a good time. A breakdown of the trip: day 1 - Beaches and beach towns: day 2 - the heart of the tour, 12 apostles and other stunning sights,: day 3 - ride through wine country and farming country. Interesting steps in each leg of the journey. Accomodations were excellent, meals could be worth it for some alone. We had a koala out side our window one night. On a personal note: we had an issue, caused by the travel company that we used to sign up for the tour, and these folks took control and made sure it was made right. Doing all the phone calls and organization. That alone makes me say this IS the company to use for any tour they offer.

A#1 Service!

21-Feb-2023

What an Excellent Tour Jeremy Redmond gave us. He was very informative but also very attentive to our group. We had a private tour and the vehicle was beautiful. Jeremey started the day by buying us coffee, tea and coffee. A nice touch. He also asked us what our interest were and taylored the tour to our tastes. The tour around the city was wonderful and we topped it off with a drop off at the City Market. The vehicle was clean and well kept. Jeremy's service was perfect and we throughly enjoed ourselves. Thank you for a great day.
