What a fantastic day we had! Comfortable transportation with a relaxed an informative guide who made sure we got the most out of our day. I was expecting the typical bus tour with a fairly strict schedule but Mike let us go at our own pace and we never felt rushed. Lake Boračko was an absolute highlight, as was the grilled trout at a small local restaurant near Konjic. I think this tour was excellent value for money and a great way to see some hidden gems in the area surrounding Sarajevo. I can't wait to return to Bosnia and Herzegovina and see more of this beautiful country (and we definitely will since we drank water from the fountain in Konjic.... legend says if you drink from it, you will return. I certainly hope that's true ❤️) Thank you, Mike, for an unforgettable day! ...more ...less

Unforgettable Balkan Experience with Balkland – Truly Felt Like a Guest, Not Just a Client I recently traveled through the Balkans with Balkland, and I can confidently say that this was not just another tour—it was a deeply personalized journey that felt more like being hosted by friends than being a client. Every aspect of the trip was meticulously tailored to fit our lifestyle, dietary preferences, and activity level, making the experience uniquely ours. Balkland went above and beyond in ways that I’ve never experienced with any other tour operator. They seamlessly integrated every detail, including last-minute adjustments and personalized touches, ensuring that we never had to worry about a thing. Even when the hotel WiFi was not ideal for some urgent work I had to complete, they quickly found an alternative spot, allowing me to stay productive without missing a beat. Their flexibility was impressive, offering extras beyond the itinerary without hesitation. If you're looking to explore the Balkans without any stress, fully immersed in the culture, cuisine, and natural beauty, Balkland is the way to go. With them, you’re not just booking a tour; you’re gaining a thoughtful, responsive, and caring host who ensures every moment is perfect. I highly recommend Balkland for anyone wanting to experience the Balkans worry-free and in a way that truly feels personal. ...more ...less
