Cape Town Airport Pick-up and South African BBQ - Saturday (D)On arrival in Cape Town Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation, where you will be welcomed by our friendly staff and checked into your room. Cape Town offers a diversity of cultures, cuisines, activities and landscapes. With the picturesque backdrop of of Table Mountain, the coastal city of Cape Town lies at the southern tip of South Africa. Also the gateway for most trips to South Africa, Cape Town, known as the Mother City, lives up to her name by being the mother of all holiday destinations. From history and culture to adventure and scenery all found within the city, you are sure to experience multiple breathtaking adventures here in the Motherland. Your hostel is a mere 5 minute walk from the beachfront, boasting fabulous restaurants, bars, shops, public transport, as well as the beautiful white beaches.In the evening you get to fill up on a delicious traditional South African BBQ – Called a Braai; while you meet up with other travellers from all parts of the world. Afterwards, you can roll down to the local bars and pubs where you can spend the rest of the night at leisure.

Is there an age limit?
No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations.
