Day 1: Kathmandu - Phakding, Nepal

Flight to Phakding & Start of Trek (03-04 hr)
On the first day of your adventure, you will take a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, where you will begin your adventure. It is a small town with an airport, with a few tea shops, lodges, hotels, and general stores
Your first trek is from Lukla to Phakding. Follow a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River, then descend a mountainside path that merges into your route to Everest, with views to a valley to your right, and at its far end, Kusum Kang. Pass a Mani Wall and arrive at Ghat teahouse.
Day 2: Phakding - Namche Bazaar, Nepal

Sagarmatha National Park Trek (06-07 hr)
On the second day of your adventure, you will trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. Trek and cross the river on high suspension bridges. Pass Monjo village and see the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park, created to protect and preserve the environment. The ascend to Namche is quite steep, but if the weather is clear, you will get your first glimpse of the Mt. Everest. Arrive in Namche, the main trading village in the Khumbu region, with a busy Saturday Market.
Day 3: Namche Bazaar, Nepal

Day of Rest in Namche Bazaar
You have a day to rest and acclimatize. Namche is tucked between two ridges of the impressive Khumbu peaks and offers several lodges, tea shops, and souvenir shops. It also has a magnificent outlook.
For acclimatization, walk up to the set-up by Sir Edmund Hillary, or to Syangboche, where the Everest View Hotel is located, and enjoy the views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kusum Kangaru. For more impressive views, you can also go to the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar - Tengboche, Nepal

Five Hour Trek to Tengboche (05-06 hr)
Today’s trek is from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche. The five-hour trek follows a trail that contours around the side of the valley, high above the Dudh Koshi. Take in the views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam.
Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. Walk by several villages and tea shops. The trail descends steeply to a bridge over the river Dudh Koshi at Phunki Tenga (3250m.).The town of Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the region.
Day 5: Tengboche - Dingboche, Nepal
Location: Dingboche

Trek to Dingboche (05-06 hr)
Today’s trek is from Tengboche to Dingboche. Walk through a forest, cross the Imja Khola and climb steadily up to the village of Pangboche. Enjoy magnificent views of the Ama Dablam with the Gompa, mani walls and scattered pine trees in the foreground. Continue ascending and enter thick forests full of thorny and juniper bushed. After 2.5 hrs, arrive in Dingboche, where you can see Sherpa people working in the agricultural farm.
Day 6: Dingboche - Chhukhung, Nepal
Location: Chhukhung

Trek the Imja River Valley (02:00 hrs)
After breakfast, begin the day’s short trek to reach Chhukhung. The trail runs along the Imja River valley and has an amazing 360-degree view of nearby mountains. Pass different villages as you walk uphill on the forested and arrive in Chhukhung.
Day 7: Chhukhung - Lobuche, Nepal

Cross Kongma La Pass (5535m) - (7-8Hrs)
Today you will cross the first and highest pass, Kongma La (5535m). Prepare yourself, because the trail is steep and mostly uphill. Reach the top of the pass in a few hours and be rewarded with extraordinary views of valleys and mountains.
Follow the descending rocky track filled with moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche.
Day 8: Lobuche - Everest Base Camp, Nepal

Arrive at the Everest Base Camp (8:00 Hrs)
After breakfast, start the day’s first trek to Gorakshep. The trails are quite stony and make walking complicated, but the views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers are mesmerizing. Rest for a bit in Gorakshep and keep going up t the Everest Base Camp. From this location, you’ll have a spectacular view of mountains like Nuptse (7861m), Khumbutse (6665m), Pumori (7165m). Return to Gorakshep to spend the night.
Day 9: Everest Base Camp - Dzongla, Nepal

Kala Patthar & Everest Sun Rise Trek (5-6 Hrs)
Today you have two different treks. Early in the morning hike to watch the sunrise from the top of Kala Patthar. See the valleys and the first rays of sun caressing Mt. Everest. Return to Goraksjep and follow the descending path toward Dzongla.
Day 10: Dzongla - Gokyo Lakes, Nepal
Location: Gokyo Lakes

Climb Cho La (5420m) & Arrive at the Gokyo Lakes (7-8 Hrs)
On Day 10, you will cross the second pass, Cho La (5420m), to reach the Gokyo lakes. Follow a steep ice-covered trail uphill (you might need to use your crampons and other gears to make this climb). Once you get to the top, take in unforgettable views of Cho Oyu (8188m), Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), and Chola (6089m).
Descend carefully on an equally slippery path until you reach Cho La Phedi. Then follow the trail through dry land on toward Ngozumpa Glacier. Reach the third Gokyo Lake, Dudh Pokhari, and enjoy the sight of the enchanting lake where the Cho Oyu peak (8188m) reflects magnificently.
Day 11: Gokyo, Nepal
Location: Gokyo

Excursion to Gokyo & Gokyo Lakes
Hike up to Gokyo Ri (5360m), a small mountain above Gokyo village, with enchanting views of the entire Gokyo valley and its lakes. You can also hike up to the fourth lake, Thonak Tsho (4870m), and retrace back to the third lake. Overnight stay in Gokyo.
Day 12: Gokyo - Lumde, Nepal

Cross 3rd Pass & Arrive in Lumde (7-8 Hrs)
Wake up early and get ready to cross the last of the three passes: Renjo La (5360m). Hike a snow-filled path until you reach the top, from where you can see enthralling views of Cho Oyu (8188m), Everest (8848m), and the Rolwaling Himal range.
Follow the trail back to reach the small lakes of Angladumba Tsho, Relama Tsho,
Day 13: Lumde - Namche, Nepal

After breakfast, begin your walk to Namche. Today’s path is relatively easier and more relaxed, perfect to enjoy the mountainous scenery.
Day 14: Namche - Lukla, Nepal

Trek to Lukla (6-7 Hrs)
On the last day of your trek, you will make your way to Lukla, crossing different villages, forests, and suspension bridges. After you arrive, rest for a while and go explore the market.
Day 15: Lukla - Kathmandu, Nepal

Return Flight to Kathmandu & End of Trip
On the last day of your adventure, take an early flight to Kathmandu.

Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries.
