Leave Marrakech behind and journey through the stunning Atlas Mountains on the way to Ouarzazate, stopping at the ancient Aït Benhaddou. Pass Ouarzazate and enjoy the views of the Roses & Kellat Mgouna. Visit the Dades valley and continue towards the city of Tinghir and then to Todra Gorges.
Day 2 : Dades Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi, Morocco

Visit the incredible Todra Gorges and head to Merzouga through several desert towns. Hop on a camel and travel to a nomadic camp, to enjoy a Berber dinner and spend the night.

Watch the sunrise over the desert and ride back to Merzouga on camelback before your transfer back to Marrakech.

What should I expect on the first day of the tour?
On the first day, you will head to Ait Benhaddou through Tizi Ntichka pass and the high Atlas Mountains, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, and continue to Ouazazate and Kasbah Taourirte before lunch. In the afternoon, you will drive to Tinghir via the valley of the roses and reach your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

What will happen on the second day of the tour?
On the second day, after breakfast, you will drive along the road of 1001 Kasbah to Ouasis of Tinghir, visit Todra canyons, and continue to Rissani. You will then drive to Merzouga, meet your camel caravan, and ride through the sand dunes to your Sahara Desert camp. The day will end with a Moroccan dinner under the stars and Berber music.

What is the plan for the third day of the tour?
On the third day, after an early breakfast and a camel ride back to the main road, you will meet your driver and drive back to Ouarzazate. After some time for lunch, you will continue to Marrakech through the high Atlas Mountains.

Is there an age limit?
No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations. If you plan to participate in activities such as white-water rafting, trekking, sand-buggy rides, etc please make sure they are included in your policy.
