Navigate through 14 powerful rapids, each a test of teamwork and the river's might, until lunchtime signals your arrival at the secluded Pacuare River Lodge. Nestled in primary rainforest, it offers a plush reprieve for weary paddlers.
Post-lunch, choose from an array of activities—whether it's a hike to observe the vibrant flora and fauna, fishing in the river's depths, or simply absorbing the tranquillity in a hammock.

Day 2 : Pacuare River To San Jose

Embark on the second leg of your white-water escapade, fortified by a sumptuous breakfast. Today, the river turns up its challenge—you'll face the might of Class IV rapids over an exhilarating 23 km course filled with approximately 30 heart-pumping rapids. Relish the rush of navigating the river's tumultuous twists and turns.
Amidst adrenaline spikes, indulge in a restorative hike to unearth the jungle's hidden wonders and enjoy a picturesque riverside lunch that offers a moment of tranquillity.
Your journey culminates at our own private Exploration Center in Siquirres. There, you'll have the opportunity to refresh and change, mingling with your fellow adventurers, recollecting the moments of thrill, against a backdrop of lush gardens and serene terraces.

No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations.
