Chichicastenango's market is the most colorful place in the Mayan Highlands and the only place in Guatemala with a population entirely composed of Quiche people. You may also witness Mayan ceremonies at the church where the Mayan bible was discovered.

What will we do at Lake Atitlan on Day 5?
On Day 5, you will visit Lake Atitlan, take a boat to cross the lake, and experience the authentic Mayan culture by visiting Tzutuhil villages like San Juan La Laguna. You will also visit the local Saint Maximon in Santiago de Atitlan before returning to Panajachel and then transferring to your accommodation in Guatemala City.

Tikal is one of the most important archeological sites of the Mayan world, known as the 'Place of the Voices.' It is considered the second-largest city in the Mayan world, and you will explore its complex temples and Acropolis with a guide.

Yaxha is a former ceremonial center and city of the Pre-Columbian Maya civilization. You will see a strong influence of Teotihuacan in the architecture of the site. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Guatemala City.
