A 2 hours drivers from Kota Kinabalu will lead you to the hidden village at hillside of Mount Kinabalu. One of the ancient villages that still worship the Mountain God for hundreds year. Upon arrival, our friendly English speaking host will guide you for a walk around the village. Get to taste some of the authentic but simple food inside the villager’s house. Taste local growth coffee from fresh bean to a cup of dedicated Sabah Coffee. Later a walk to pineapple factory. The factory is a local setup to giving out working opportunity to the local. In late afternoon, a guided walk to pineapple farm and to the border of the village to search for herbal. Enjoy tasteful dinner with the host family.
Day 3
:
Kinabalu Park, Malaysia
Location: Kinabalu Park
Accommodation Name: picturesque and peaceful tea plantation
Meals Included: Lunch
After breakfast, get a walk to the primary school in the village to see the student life and learn how to play “Gong” – the traditional instrument in Sabah. Check out a bee farm run by local and taste the fresh honey with local snacks. Say goodbye to your lovely host and head back to the city.

Kinabalu Park-Kinabatangan, Malaysia
Location: Kinabalu Park, Kinabatangan
Meet our representative at the lobby of your accommodation, pick-up time will be confirmed beforehand but is typically 2 hours before departure for domestic flights.Suggest Flight: AK 6496 / 12.30 – 13.15 / 20kgUpon your arrival at the airport, meet our representative depending on destination - they will be holding a sign with your surname. Enjoy a convenient, hassle-free transfer to your accommodation.
Day 5
:
Kinabatangan, Malaysia
Location: Sepilok, Kinabatangan
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Experience a warm welcome, followed by a half-hour drive to the Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre, immersed in the primary lowland rainforest, showcasing Borneo's pristine natural beauty. Witness the feeding of orangutans from a forest platform and watch a 25-minute documentary. Proceed to the Borneon Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSCC), contributing to the care, rehabilitation, and release of the world's smallest bear species, the Malayan sun bears.Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. At 1pm, you will be picked up to Bilit by the Kinabatangan River and then on to Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort. At 1600 hours, river cruise in search of wildlife that is so prevalent in the area – a good chance to see proboscis monkey, orang utan, macaques, pygmy elephants, birds and other wildlife. Return to the resort. Dinner will be served. * Wildlife spotting is not guaranteed.
Day 6
:
Kinabatangan-Sepilok, Malaysia
Location: Kinabatangan
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. Proceed for an early morning cruise to observe more wildlife and birdlife. Return to resort for breakfast. After breakfast, follow in house Guide for Jungle trekking within resort area. Return to the resort for lunch. Late afternoon, set off for another river adventure and try to spot more wildlife and birds before returning to the resort for dinner.
Day 7
:
Sepilok- Sandakan, Malaysia
Location: Sandakan
Meals Included: Breakfast
Rise early for another early morning cruise along the Kinabatangan to observe more wildlife and birdlife. Return to resort for breakfast. Check out and depart for your return journey to Sandakan. ** Shared transfer applicable for flight depart after 2pm.

We organized a trip through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia on the hop-on, hop-off bus. It made the trip so much simpler for us as first-time travelers because we just had to send an email to arrange the bus, which avoided the hassle of looking for the best price and so on! We also had a number of tours included, they were all amazing and saved us the trouble of trying to find the best offers on our own; it also meant we got to see a lot of stuff we wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I had booked our Uyuni Salt Flats & Desert Adventure 3D/2N (Uyuni to Atacama) tour via an Australian travel agency, but they had made an error and refused to assist us or take responsibility. This was very difficult for us because we wanted to have a stress-free honeymoon. I contacted Bamba and I asked if we could talk on the phone so they made the improvements to our tour reservation that our travel agent declined to make. The quality of service was exceptional and they generously offered to us a complimentary gift because it was our honeymoon. I can't say enough good things about Bamba.
