Reviews from travellers on this tour

AWESOME!

43715

I lost count of the number of times someone in our group said 'WOW' over these five days. The views were unbelievable. Machu Picchu was also spectacular, and watching the sunrise there felt surreal. Great tour operator, they are very professiona.

Amazing experience with the best guides and service

43118

The whole experience is so well organised and fully in control by the members of the staff and very professional guides, cooks and carriers. They taught us so much about Peruvian/Inkan/ketyuan culture, nature, food and the way of life in the highlands and in the Amazonian jungle. We became great friends with our guides as they are not only great and professional at their work but also great people who will help you with everything and make it a nice and safe journey towards one of the most amazing places that the Machu Picchu is.

Breathtaking!

43661

This trip to machu pichhu was amazing, from the beginning to the end. Our guide diego was so great, he knows everything rhing about the incas, the mountains and the nature around cusco! But it was not only his knowledge who made the trip with him so cool, diego is very enthusiastic and even after more than 20 years of guiding around cusco every time he go on a trip he's amazed by pacha mama (mother nature). An hour later machu picchu was full and believe me it's something totally different. I spend five beautiful days with the nice group i had and am very thankful for the good weather we had.

Beautiful & stunning trek.

43530

We had a great experience doing the salkantay route. Our guide Anderson made everything even better as he was very funny and knew everything there was to know about the animals in the area and of course Inca culture. He also kept us motivated during the hike, which we needed when things got tiring! Beautiful views and history.

Salkantay and Machu Picchu

43740

It was great getting to Machu Picchu early in the morning as there were not too many tourists. The Salkantay route is really special with impressive views. Our guide Anderson was super passionate about teaching about the local cultures. Thank you Anderson, and the rest of the Bamba team!

Amazing guide and views

43782

The hike was beautiful, empowering and unforgettable! The tour operator was very reliable and professional, I believe they have been in the business for a long time. Our guide Anderson was a champion! Highly recommended.

Incredible trek

43507

Overall, this trip was an incredible experience. My brother and I are very grateful to Bamba and our amazing guide for arranging this for us. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Peru. Do yourself a favour and book with them!

The food was surprising

43518

The trail we took was surprisingly quiet. At times it seemed like we were the only group out there. On the trail, you have a chef and two helpers that move along on the trail ahead of your group. The food was surprisingly good being that they had to pack everything we would eat for the 5 days.

Choose the Salkantay trail, trust me

43732

This trek showed me some of the most impressive and stunning scenery I've ever seen! It was my first time in my Peru and I had no idea how green it was. I am so glad I picked to do this Salkantay route and that I decided to book with Bamba. They provided a really great guide and were really clear in communicating everything I needed to know.

Rewarding trek and amazing team

43740

Our 5-day Salkantay trek was amazing. The hike is not so easy and one of the guys in the group struggled a bit on day 2 but our guide Anderson was so patient and motivating! We had all bonded like old friends by the last day. Special thanks to our cook, porters and the rest of the Bamba customer team who were really helpful on the phone.
