Day 1 : Quito - Coca, Ecuador

Today, you'll be transferred to the bus station where you'll catch the overnight bus to Coca.
Day 2 : Coca - Napo Cultural Center, Ecuador
Location: Coca
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Upon arrival, you'll take a canoe ride to the Napo Cultural Center for a traditional Wayusa drink with members of the Kichwa Añangu community. In the afternoon, you'll go on a hike to experience Amazon wildlife for the first time. Kayaking is an optional activity and the perfect way to enjoy a colourful sunset.
Day 3 : Napo Cultural Center, Ecuador
Location: Yasuni Biosphere Reserve
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today you'll visit the parrot clay lick in the riverside of the Napo River. You'll then walk through the forest spotting wildlife, and visit the intercultural interpretation center Kuri Muyu. After lunch, you'll go on another hike to the observation tower. After dinner, ride an ancestral catamaran to learn more about local legends and traditional chants.
Day 4 : Napo Cultural Center, Ecuador
Location: Napo Cultural Center
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Watch the sunrise and visit sustainable community projects before we hike the Mama Kuna trail. In the afternoon, paddle around Añangu creek, a black water ecosystem, and prepare for a traditional typical dinner. Tonight, we'll be going on a night walk around the lodge.
Day 5 : Napo Cultural Center - Quito, Ecuador
Location: Quito
Meals Included: Breakfast
Take part in a optional Wayusada ritual early in the morning, and then make your way back to Quito after breakfast.

Is there an age limit?
No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations. If you plan to participate in activities such as white-water rafting, trekking, sand-buggy rides, etc please make sure they are included in your policy.
