6 DAYS MACHAME ROUTE KILIMANJARO HIKING GROUP JOINING DEPARTURE DATES & COST IN 2023,2024,2025.

The weather on the Kilimanjaro is challenging especially when you are about to go to the summit. This is because the altitude takes you to cross the clouds. The other Mountain you can see penetrating through the clouds is Mt. Meru which is at times nicknamed Kilimanjaro’s young brother. The idea is to make people see it as a shorter mountain compared to Kilimanjaro as you actually see it appearing at a lower angle above the clouds. There are strong winds when going to the summit and the temperature drops to below zero degrees. We booked the safari a week before our departure. When we got to Arusha, the taxi was waiting for us. We slept the first night in the Luxury hotel. We were able to leave our suitcase with a good guide during our 4-day Serengeti safari.

The Machame route is 6 days with an extra acclimatization day at Barranco camp. Using this route to Summit was a very good decision. The route has a very beautiful view. We were guided by an amazing guide who helped us to get to the Summit. Everything was arranged by the office in the town of Moshi. This tour company did an amazing job. The guide was keen to watch our health and strength and did everything to ensure that we will summit. There are actions we took as a precaution. This included talking while climbing and even walking fast at higher altitudes. I am glad that we chose this company and are not regretting the decision. Your things are much perfectly organized.

The springs occurred naturally in mid of the desert near Kilimanjaro International Airport. This is a place worth visiting. The water soothes the body and takes away fatigue. Our day was very nice and adventurous it gave us a feeling of being in the jungles of Africa. The place can help you relax after airing 6 days of Serengeti Migration Safari or 7 days of Mount Kilimanjaro climbing as I did. The water was very clean we could see the bottom of the pond from far. There is fish nibbling on your skin when you do not move. No one should worry though because the fish are heavenly sent to give you skin therapy by eating the dead part of your skin. There is a rope string hanging above the water – locals use it to perform some cool acrobatic moves.
