Day 1 : Airport to Sigiriya

Meet and Greet at the Airport before taking part in a Negombo City Tour and visiting Negombo Beach. Proceed to Sigiriya visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Watch the baby elephants play and bathe in the river; watch them being fed, or feed them yourself. Check in at hotel and stay overnight in Sigiriya.

This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a city tour of Colombo. Visit the Fort and the Pettah Commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst oldest colonial hotel GOH. Afterwards, proceed through the main street passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry and old City Hall which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka. Stop will be made at the Old Dutch hospital with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old race course with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture, enjoy some time shopping in Colombo before returning to the hotel.
