COLOMBO TO PINNAWELA TO SIGIRIYA
Location: Sigiriya

After breakfast at the hotel leave for Sigiriya. En-route visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela, a unique sanctuary in the world for orphaned elephants. Have lunch before proceeding to Sigiriya. Upon arrival check into the hotel before embarking on an afternoon journey to the Sigiriya Rock fortress. Declared as the 8th wonder of the ancient world. Sigiriya, also called Lion Rock Situated in central Sri Lanka consisting of the ruins of an ancient stronghold that was built in the late 5th century on a remarkable monolithic rock pillar. After this return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

SIGIRIYA TO KNUCKLES TO WASGAMUWA
Location: Knuckles Mountain Range

After breakfast at the hotel leave for Wasgamuwa. On the way indulge in some trekking at the Knuckles Mountain Range. The Knuckles Mountain Range lies in central Sri Lanka, north-east of the city of Kandy. The range takes its name from a series of recumbent folds and peaks in the west of the massif which resembles the knuckles of clenched fist when viewed from certain locations in the Kandy District. After lunch, finish the trek and proceed to the accommodation in Wasgamuwa. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at an Eco Lodge.

Location: Wasgamuwa National Park

Breakfast at the hotel, then enjoy a full day jeep safari at Wasgamuwa National Park. Wasgamuwa is well known for its abundant wildlife population, wilderness setting and home of several interesting ancient sites. Wasgamuwa is distinguished from other parks by having a full complement of predators of which bears are particularly noteworthy. Enjoy lunch and then return back to the eco lodge where you'll have dinner and stay for the remainder of the evening.

WASGAMUWA TO KANDY

After an early breakfast proceed to Kandy via Knuckles Mountain Range with trekking and a visit to Corbett’s gap. Have lunch and then continue your journey to Kandy. Upon arrival check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

KANDY TO NUWARA ELIYA
Location: Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast at the hotel visit the Temple of the Tooth, which is a famous pilgrimage site, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in the world, which was built to protect the sacred tooth relic thought to belong to Lord Buddha, which has been enshrined in Sri Lanka for hundreds of years. After have lunch and proceed to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a Tea Factory on the way. Enjoy an afternoon visit to Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Later on check inro the hotel for your overnight stay.

NUWARA ELIYA
Location: Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast at the hotel take part in a Full-Day Nature Hike to Horton Plains National Park & visit the World’s End. Horton Plains National Park, is a protected area in the Nuwara Eliya district, and at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 meters (6,900–7,500 ft) from the sea level, it is also a popular tourist destination. Mext do some hiking at Little Adam’s Peak in Sri Lanka, which is one of the most epic things to do in Ella. The peak can be hiked easily without a guide, as there is a marked path that leads you up the mountain, with plenty of signposts to show you the way. Have lunch and then return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

:
NUWARA ELIYA TO KITULAGAL
Location: Kitulgala
Accommodation: Hotel
After breakfast leave for Bentota via Kitulgala. After arriving at Kithulgala, start the adventure activity! White water rafting has become the number one extreme sport in the country. Sri Lanka’s central region is mountainous and has a lot of rivers. When water flows at speed through rough terrain, it becomes bubbly, and we call this white water. Rafting in Sri Lanka through these turbulent waters, you will feel a sense of adventure like never before. After Lunch trek to visit to the Belilena Caves. After this return back to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

:
KITULGALA TO SINGHARAJA
Location: Sinharaja
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast
After breakfast leave for Sinharaja. Upon arrival have lunch and then visit the Sigharaja Rain Forest. Once finished head to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10
:
SINHARAJA TO BENTOTA
Location: Bentota
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel leave for Bentota. Upon arrival spend the afternoon at leisure at the hotel. You also have the option to take part in some Water Sports at Bentota. This evening enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 11
:
BENTOTA TO COLOMBO TO AIRPORT
Location: Colombo
Meals Included: Breakfast
Receive pick up from the hotel in the morning after breakfast, leave Bentota for Colombo. Upon arrival take a tour of Colombo commencing with a visit to the Fort and the Pettah commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst the oldest colonial hotel GOH. Afterwards, proceed through the main street passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry and old City Hall which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka. Stops will be made at the Old Dutch hospital with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old race course with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture, restaurants and shopping arcade passing through Colombo City Hall. Enjoy some free time shopping in Colombo before returning to the airport for a late evening departure.

From the time we landed in Colombo to the time we left Colombo back home Buddhika at Ceylon Travel dream and our great Guide Chamila took amazing care of us. Chamila was very informative and treated us like family, we travelled and visited a lot of places in Sri Lanka, he was very caring with my elderly family members and gave us an excellent tour around Sri Lanka.
Ceylon Travel dream was very accommodating and very adjusting around our itinerary, they provided us with all the information and was easy to communicate with them, highly recommend them for future travels to Sri Lanka.

Ceylon Travel - One Stop solution for Sri Lanka

Having decided fairly early on, Sri Lanka was set as our go to place for the honeymoon having an optimal mix of land, water, mountains with lush greenery.
All research conducted pointed towards having a tour guide for ease of travel and arrangements, and thats when we stumbled upon Ceylon travels (having also heard of them through a friend)
Our experience with Buddhika, from Ceylon travel and dreams has been nothing short of extraordinary. He was incredibly patient in hearing our interests, highly accommodating of our proposed changes in the journey and always willing to find the solution. He not only provided us with the optimal route for our 10 day trip but also booked plausibly the best hotels within our budger. We have had the best trip of our lives, all thanks to Buddhika, and his excellent tour guide who I would rate amongst the best in Sri Lanka. The tour guide (also the driver) whose name was also Buddhika is a very kind hearted man, and took care of us like family.
Overall, this trip far exceeded our expectations and cannot wait to be back with the wider family, and obviously doing all the arrangements through Ceylon.
