Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside?
Today you will hear about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara.

Today, you are driving to the beautiful City of Alexandria, the capital city of Egypt during the Greco-Roman period. Upon arrival visit the famous Roman Catacombs at Kom El Shoqafa and Pompey’s Pillar. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Check into your hotel and free evening in Alexandria.

Breakfast at the hotel then visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, Library of Alexandria and the Roman Amphitheatre of Kom El-Dekka. Lunch at a local restaurant and drive back to Cairo.

Today, you will explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum. From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.

After some days of tours, you will enjoy some relaxation. So today, you are flying to the beautiful City of Hurghada on the Red Sea. After some days in Hurghada, you are driving to Luxor to start your 4-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. After arriving on board, you will check into your room. After that, you’re invited to explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Today, you will explore the magnificent tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from the grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best 3 tombs of the opened ones to visit. From the magnificent Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who ruled as solo pharaoh for about 20 years. You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III. Back to the ship to set sail to Edfu through the Lock of Esna. Overnight is in Edfu.

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. After visiting the temple, you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the Falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the ship will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s, the High Dam as well as the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk, and the awesome Temple of Philae. Back on board for lunch. Late afternoon, you will take a traditional sailboat called Fellucca for a ride around Elephantine Island. Free evening to wander through the city.

Disembarkation then transfer to Abu Simbel to board your Lake Nasser cruise for the next four days. Have lunch on board. Visit the phenomenal Temples of Ramses and Nefertari at Abu Simbel.
Overnight is in Abu Simbel.

The ship sets sail from Abu Simbel to Qasr Ibrim, which you will view from the top deck. Then set sail to Amada to overnight there.

Today at Amada, you will visit the Temple of Amada, and the tomb of the Viceroy of Nubia, Pennut.
Then set sail to Wadi Es-Seboua. Here you are visiting the Temple of Wadi Es-Seboua, the Temple of Dakka, and the Temple of Maharaqa.
Then set sail to Aswan for overnight.

Disembarkation. Visit the New Kalabsha area which includes the Temple of Kalabsha, the Temple of Beit Al-Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi.
Transfer to Aswan airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo.

Today, you are exploring the Pyramids of Dahshur, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid which built by pharaoh Senferu, father of Khufu. Then to the Open Air-Museum at Memphis, the first capital city of United Egypt.

Your last tour in Egypt is spiritual to the Community of Religions in Cairo. The tour includes the famous Hanging Church, the Cave Church, Synagogue of Ben Ezra, and the first mosque in Africa, the Mosque of Amr.
