Afterward, you're free to grab a bite to eat before embarking on an optional (not included) exciting afternoon tour of Marrakech around 2:00 pm. We'll admire the majestic Koutoubia Mosque from the outside and delve into the rich history of Ben Youssef Madrassa.

Day 2 : Exploring Tafraoute and the Ait Mansour Valley

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we'll hit the road and head west, stopping for a coffee break along the way. During the drive, you'll get a glimpse of local life as we pass through Berber villages in the Massa region. Our destination is Tafraoute, a charming town nestled in the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
Once we've settled into our hotel, we'll savor a delicious lunch at a local eatery, giving you a taste of authentic Moroccan cuisine. If time permits, we can even take a refreshing dip before venturing to the breathtaking Ait Mansour Valley.
This tranquil oasis is renowned for its stunning landscapes, pleasant climate, and fertile valleys that wind through the mountains. As we stroll through this peaceful paradise, you'll be surrounded by the soothing sounds of water, historic monuments, lush palm groves, and blossoming almond trees. We'll take a leisurely walk through the oasis, learning about the crops cultivated by local farmers.
On our way back to Tafraoute in the late afternoon, we'll make a special stop at the iconic blue-painted rocks, a unique and photogenic landmark of the region.
Day 3 : Coastal city of Essaouira

Following an early breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains towards Morocco's picturesque western coast. Along the way, we'll pass through charming towns like Tiznit, Agadir, and Taghazoute, soaking in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the vibrant Berber communities.
Upon reaching the coastal haven of Essaouira, we'll check into our hotel, allowing you a moment to refresh before we head to the historic medina for a delightful seafood lunch at one of the local eateries near the bustling harbor.
The afternoon is yours to explore this enchanting fishing town at your own pace. Wander through the lively souks, unwind at cozy cafes and terraces, or add an extra dose of adventure to your day with optional activities like quad biking, kitesurfing, horse riding, or even a traditional Moroccan cooking class. If relaxation is more your style, simply cross the road from our hotel and unwind on the beautiful beach with a refreshing local mint tea.
Day 4 : Overnight in the Agafay Desert, optional camel ride

Feel free to explore the coastal town at your own pace this morning. Later, we'll gather at the hotel and embark on a journey to the serene Agafay Desert. Upon arrival, we'll settle into our comfortable tents and you'll have the option to relax by the pool or embark on a memorable camel ride as you witness the breathtaking sunset.
Day 5 : Return to Marrakech

Is travel insurance compulsory?
Yes! Travel insurance is compulsory on all of our tours and needs to cover personal accident & liability, medical expenses and repatriation, travel delay & abandonment. We also strongly recommend that you take out cover against cancellation and lost/stolen baggage. Personal medical insurance does not normally provide sufficient cover and is generally not suitable for travel on our tours. You will not be able to join your tour if you have not provided us with details of your insurance or if you arrive without cover in place (no refunds will be due in this event).

You are always able to change your travel date. However, some charges may apply depending on how long before your departure you make the change. Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Customers may transfer their booking or any Credit on File to another person who satisfies all the relevant conditions to the tour, provided that we are notified not less than 7 days before departure, and the transferee agrees to these booking conditions and all other terms of the contract between us. The Client and new booker are jointly and severally responsible for any outstanding payments and a transfer administration fee of GBP50 / USD75 / CAD100 / AUD100 / NZD100 / EUR75 / ZAR1000 / INR5000 or GBP100 / USD150 / CAD200 / AUD200 / NZD200 / EUR150 / ZAR2000 / INR10,000 if the transfer is made less than 60 days before departure. Important Note: Certain arrangements may not be amended or transferred after they have been confirmed (for example flight tickets, Gorilla Permits) and any alteration could incur a cancellation and rebooking charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.
