Between 7:45/8:00 am, after breakfast, we will meet you for the included tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s square with our exclusive “Skip the Line” access! No stress to reach the area: upon arrival, your guide will lead you into the museums where you’ll visit one of the most important art collections of the world. Walk along the beautiful Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps before admiring Raphael’s Rooms and, then, the amazing Sistine Chapel. Along the way, take in the stunning landscapes of the Italian countryside and the breathtaking coastal views, where crystal-clear waters meet rolling hills adorned with citrus groves and charming villages.Upon arriving in Sorrento, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, you’ll be captivated by its vibrant streets, artisanal ceramic workshops, and historic churches. After checking in at your hotel, spend the afternoon at your leisure. After breakfast you’ll be embarked to Capri island. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll take a boat ride to the popular and dreamy “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. After returning to the port you’ll board on a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918 feet (280 meters) above the sea level. After breakfast, you'll have some free time to soak in Sorrento's charm one last time. Around 1:15 PM (departure time to be reconfirmed by our local staff), we begin the final leg of our journey. Accompanied by our expert tour leader, we head to Pompeii, where a professional local guide will take you on an extraordinary walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Skip-the-line access, personal earphones, and a radio receiver ensure you won’t miss a single fascinating detail as your guide brings history to life. After a tasty breakfast, we will be heading to Assisi. On arrival, you'll have free time to wander around the historic centre and its symbolic landmark the St. Francis Basilica, one of Italy's greatest patron saints. You'll also see the remarkable frescos by Giotto and Cimabue.Later, we'll make our way to the famous Italian region of Tuscany to visit the city of Siena. Here, you'll have the opportunity to walk around the Piazza del Campo, which has been repeatedly named as one of the most beautiful squares in the world.In the evening, we'll go to Florence and settle into the hotel before having a delicious dinnerOvernight: Florence  Meals: Breakfast – Dinner

After breakfast, you will spend the day venturing around beautiful Florence, the “Cradle of Renaissance”, where, with the help of Michelangelo, Italian art reached its pinna- cle. Based on Etruscan-Roman origins, the city flourished in the Middle Ages as a free “Comune” and was further refined during the Renaissance. You will be fascinated by the uncountable monuments, churches and buildings as Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly referred to as the Duomo. On your visit, you will be amazed by its mag- nificent dome built by Filippo Brunelleschi. Cross a small piazza to see the “Campanile” tower (partly designed by Giotto) and the Baptistery, with its bronze doors where Mi- chelangelo imagined the “Gates of Paradise.” In the heart of the city, you will see Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della Signoria (also known as Palazzo Vecchio), and the Basil- ica of Santa Croce. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own or take a short trip to Pisa (optional), one of the four main historical Marine Republics of Italy. There, you will tour the Piazza dei Miracoli with the Duomo, Pisa’s symbol “the Leaning Tower” and the Baptistery. After breakfast in Florence, departure to Bologna. There, you will discover the elegant city center with its “porticos”, it’s shopping streets and so on. From Piazza Malpighi you  will walk to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore (Nep- tune square and Major square) in the heart of the city, then King Renzo’s Palace; Palazzo Podestà and the basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest in the world. Bologna it’s a real gourmet’s heaven...don’t miss a tasty meal at your own leisure! In the afternoon, continue toward Padova, with Sant’Antonio Basilica: one of the most visited church- es by pilgrims of the catholic world. Later in the afternoon, arrival in Venice (Mestre). After breakfast, enjoy your transfer to Piazza San Marco, and visit the most iconic places of the “Floating City”: the Palazzo dei Dogi, symbol of Venice’s glorious past, the legendary “Bridge of Sighs”. After the walking tour, allow us to treat you to a spritz or a prosecco, as a delightful conclusion to your visit to the highlights of Venice, in the company of your tour leader. While you sit comfortably and savor your drink, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy a taste of the famous "cicchetti," a Venetian variation of tapas (light lunch). Spend the afternoon roaming along Venice’s canals at your leisure and then return to the hotel and overnight. Youc an also opt-in to one of our optional tours.
