Welcome to Egypt and your Nile Adventure! Arrive at Cairo Airport and meet our local tour representative who will guide you through immigration and passport control. Collect your baggage before being transferred to the hotel in Cairo. At the hotel, meet your knowledgeable Egyptologist tour guide who will be with the group throughout the journey. Get ready for an exciting overview of the upcoming experiences! If you arrive early, take the opportunity to explore Cairo or unwind by the hotel pool. Get set for an unforgettable adventure along the Nile!
Day 2: Giza Pyramids - Sphinx - Sakkara

This morning, prepare to delve into ancient Egypt's wonders with a visit to the pyramids! Join your Egyptologist guide and explore the Giza Pyramid Complex, home to the Great Pyramid of Giza, Pyramid of Khafre, Pyramid of Menkaure, and the majestic Great Sphinx — the sole surviving wonders of the ancient world. Then, venture to Sakkara to marvel at the unique step pyramid of Zoser (Djoser), the world's first pyramid comprised of six tombs stacked atop one another!Please note: The flight to Aswan is scheduled for either Sunday evening or Monday morning, subject to availability.

Day 3: Cairo - Philae Temple - Aswan

Aswan awaits! Hop on an early morning flight and freshen up at your hotel before the Nile adventure begins. Take a short boat trip to Agilkia Island and lose yourself in the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and renowned as one of Egypt's most beautiful temples. Tonight, consider joining an optional excursion for a traditional dinner at a Nubian house.

Day 4: Nile Felucca Cruise

The Nile beckons! After breakfast, board a traditional felucca and surrender to serenity. Unwind as you take in the breathtaking views along the ancient waterway under the boat's covered deck, which offers shade and comfortable mattresses, the perfect recipe for relaxation. Opt for an excursion to Abu Simbel, where two colossal temples stand on Lake Nasser's western bank. These temples, part of the Nubian Monuments UNESCO World Heritage Site, feature iconic relief figures carved during Pharaoh Ramesses II's reign in the 13th century BC. End the day by enjoying an overnight stay aboard the felucca.

Day 6: Valley Of The Kings - Hatshepsut - Hurghada

Begin by taking a trip to the world-famous Valley of the Kings and see the final resting place of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, including Tutankhamun. Do you operate a “single share” option and how does it work?
If you are travelling alone there is no compulsory charge - you will share a twin room with another passenger of the same gender. There is an optional single supplement/private room upgrade available for single travellers who wish to have a private room. This can be added at the time of booking or by contacting our team.

Children on tour?
Our tours are not suitable for young children which is why we have a minimum age limit of 10 years old. However, at the discretion of Expat Explore we may consider younger children on certain tours if they meet certain criteria and a request is received in writing via email. Minors (between 10 and 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility for them. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted on tour. Expat Explore reserves the right to decline any booking at our discretion. Any minor (between 10 and 18 years of age) is priced the same as an adult.
