A European Journey from Madrid to Prague

On arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check in. You can enjoy your free time until your tour starts. Please check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area, which have all the information about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de Es­paña, and Gran Via, a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern are some of the options available.


Overnight in Madrid

The day starts at about 08.30 with a comprehensive tour through the center of Madrid, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. You will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city center, where you will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring is included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world, where you will learn about the tradition of “corri¬das” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset, you are provided a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving various exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, international) that you can enjoy as a pleasant dinner. (Not included) Return to the hotel will be provided.


Overnight in Madrid

In the morning, we will depart for Aragon, passing through the picturesque landscapes of Castile. Our first stop will be Zaragoza, where well marvel at the breathtaking Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Next, well visit the tranquil Poblet Abbey, renowned as one of the worlds best-preserved medieval monasteries (admission included). Finally, well continue to Barcelona, arriving by evening.Overnight in Barcelona

In the morning, well set off to explore the City of Counts, a lively metropolis along the Mediterranean coast celebrated for Gaudís modernist masterpieces, the vibrant Ramblas, and its storied past, marked by the Universal Exposition and the Olympics. Barcelona is widely regarded as one of Europes most captivating and picturesque capitals. In the evening, well depart Barcelona and head north into Catalonia. Before checking into our hotel, well take a stroll through Gironas historic center, renowned for its charming colorful houses, the ancient Jewish quarter, and its magnificent cathedral.Overnight in Girona

Well journey to France, traveling through the scenic Provence region. Our first stop will be Arles, a charming UNESCO World Heritage city renowned for its ties to Van Gogh. Here, well have the opportunity to visit the Roman theater and picturesque Romanesque churches, with time to explore and enjoy lunch. Following this, well visit Carrières des Lumières, an extraordinary underground art exhibit featuring a mesmerizing fusion of art, imagery, and sound within an ancient quarry. By evening, well arrive in Chambéry, the enchanting capital of Savoy, a medieval city with a delightful historic center and an impressive castle.Note: If tickets for the Carrières des Lumières show are unavailable due to high demand, we will arrange an alternative visit to the Pont du Gard, a renowned Roman aqueduct.Overnight in Chambery

Today we travel to Switzerland. Geneva, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we can admire the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of Gruyere, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (Nestle amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included. After this, we go on to Chillon Castle, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We will continue traveling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages. - Arrival in Leysin, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. Enjoy your dinner.


Overnight in Leysin

After enjoying breakfast, prepare for a day of spectacular mountain scenery—dont forget your winter clothing! Well ascend to Glacier 3000 via cable car, one of Switzerlands most breathtaking attractions, offering year-round ice and snow. Here, you can stroll across the suspended bridge linking two mountain peaks, marvel at the magical Ice Cathedral, or have fun at the Snow Fun Park. Our journey continues with a stop in Interlaken for lunch, followed by a visit to Lucerne, celebrated as one of Switzerlands most beautiful cities. By evening, well arrive in Zurich, where youll have time to explore the city center before heading to the hotel.Note: The cable car to Glacier 3000 may occasionally be closed due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds.Overnight in Zurich

After breakfast at the hotel depart early from Zurich, crossing the majestic Alps to the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first destination is Bellinzona, famed for its three medieval castles, designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These hilltop fortresses showcase Bellinzonas historical importance as a key alpine stronghold. Enjoy free time to explore the charming streets of the city center. Well then cross into Italy, stopping in the picturesque town of Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como boasts stunning lakeside gardens and an awe-inspiring cathedral. Our journey continues to Milan, where our guide will introduce you to the magnificent Piazza del Duomo. Afterward, youll have some leisure time to explore before we transfer you to the hotel.Overnight in Milan

Today after breakfast, continue your journey towards Pisa. On a little tourist train, we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continued to Rome, arriving at the end of the day.


Overnight in Rome

After breakfast, In the morning, well embark on a panoramic tour of Italys capital, the Eternal City, celebrated as one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The tour will combine a walking exploration with a scenic bus ride. On the walking tour, well admire iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum (viewed from the outside), and the grand Imperial Forums. Following this, well continue by bus through this open-air museum of a city, passing magnificent basilicas and churches, Tiber Island, Lungotevere Avenue, and Castel SantAngelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the heart of the Catholic Church. The afternoon will be free, and we recommend visiting St. Peters Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the evening, well provide a transfer to Trastevere, an enchanting district perfect for a stroll through its narrow, cobblestone streets. This charming neighborhood is filled with hidden treasures, from quaint medieval churches and unique shops to scenes of local life. Trastevere is also home to numerous trattorias and osterias offering authentic Italian cuisine, alongside a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and international dishes. At the end of the evening, well return to the hotel.Overnight in Rome

Today, we will leave Rome, heading north. This route has beautiful landscapes. Arriving in Florence, we head straight to the impressive Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening we take a tour with a local expert, walking through the historic center and taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Plaza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. In the evening you will have time for dinner, as, in this district, you can find many restaurants serving international cuisine.


Overnight in Florence

Today we enjoyed stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. We will arrive in Venice, take the boat, and cross the Giudecca to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit the marvelous St. Mark´s Square and enter the Basilica (entrance included). Afterward, we will visit the Murano Glass Factory. It is fascinating to see the technique of how this ancient glass is made. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore. Accommodation in the Mestre district.


Overnight in Venice

After breakfast, we will leave Venice and set out for Austria! Our first stop will be Innsbruck, where youll have time to explore the historic city center and enjoy lunch in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol. Following this, well travel along stunning mountain roads to Kitzbühel, a charming village renowned as a premier ski resort, where snow is present for much of the year. After some free time to take in the picturesque surroundings, well continue to Salzburg, arriving by evening.Note: For smaller groups, the journey from Venice to Innsbruck may be by train.Overnight in Salzburg

In the morning, after breakfast, well dive deeper into Austrias charm. In the morning, well explore Salzburg, the city of Mozart, renowned for its stunning Renaissance and Baroque architecture set against the backdrop of its majestic castle. Next, well journey through picturesque lakes and mountains to St. Wolfgang, a famed pilgrimage destination in Austria. From there, well continue to Traunkirchen, nestled on the shores of the scenic Traunsee Lake, where well enjoy an included cruise showcasing four of the lakes enchanting castles before arriving in Gmunden. Our day concludes with a journey to Vienna, where well arrive in the evening.Overnight in Vienna

Today after breakfast, visit this impressive city with a local expert. Here we experience its majestic avenues, its palaces, and the vibrant city center. Then we head directly to Schönbrunn Palace, where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon of leisure in the city center. In the evening we include a transfer to the neighborhood of Grinzing, an old wine-growing village annexed to the city and known for its traditional taverns. Free time to dine in one of its typical restaurants.


Overnight in Vienna

After breakfast, we have an approximately three-hour journey to Budapest, Hungary. Arriving at around 11:30, we will discover Budapest (known as the “Queen of the Danube”) on a boat tour along the river. Budapest is divided by the Danube River, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopolitan Pest on the opposite side. Time for lunch, followed by a scenic tour of the city. After the tour enjoy some leisure time. At the end of the day, we finish in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of opportunities to have your dinner.


Overnight in Budapest

After breakfast, we will leave Budapest for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube. With an attractive historic center, take time to see the city and enjoy lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the Czech Republic, Prague. Arriving in the evening, we will make our way to the Old Town Square. This central location provides a great introduction to Prague, full of energy and touristic activities. You can have your dinner at one of the restaurants offering international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.


Overnight in Prague

After breakfast at the hotel, well explore Prague, the enchanting Baroque gem of Europe. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, well embark on a panoramic tour showcasing the citys most iconic landmarks. The tour includes a visit to Prague Castle (admission included), offering a glimpse of its rich history. Following this, well enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Vltava River (included). The afternoon will be yours to discover the city at your own pace.Overnight in Prague

Today, after you have breakfast, you will depart for the Prague International airport (transfer not included), as its the end of our services.
