About This Trip
On this journey, you will discover some of the most famous destinations in Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. Start your journey in Barcelona, where you will go on a guided tour to the Monastery of Poblet, located in northeastern Spain, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world. In Barcelona, tour the city and discover the iconic Ras Ramblas Street. Your tour continues with driving in the region of Provence to arrive in the charming town of Chamberry. Continue to Switzerland and enjoy beautiful lakes and mountains with snow-capped peaks on your way to Zurich. Your journey continues in Rome, the ancient Capital of Italy, and get to know about its history on a panoramic tour and in the Trastevere area. You will also visit St. Peters Basilica in the heart of Vatican City and the impressive Roman Coliseum. Moving to Venice, you will take the boat, cross the Grand Canal to the Island of Venice, and visit the marvelous St. Mark´s Square and the Murano Glass Factory. Then travel along a scenic road between the mountains on your way to Kitzbuhel in Austria and take a cable car ride up to the high mountains surrounding the city with fantastic scenery. Later, you will explore the beautiful Traunsee Lake in Traunkirchen and see four castles. Your journey ends in Vienna with majestic avenues, its palaces, and its vibrant city center. Here you will visit the Schonbrunn Palace and enjoy its beautiful gardens.

Day 1: Barcelona Arrival

After having morning breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a city tour that comprises a visit to numerous tourist destinations in Barcelona. You will go exploring La Rambla – a vibrant street in central Barcelona that connects Placa de Catalunya with Christopher Columbus Monument. You will get to see the works of Gaudi, a famous and highly respected Spanish architect known for his individual and unique style of architecture and discover his major works like the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and the La Pedrera along Passeig de Gracia. At approximately 18:00 hrs you will be transferred to Girona, the small Catalan capital with its very beautiful historic center where the cathedral stands out with its great staircase. Evening at leisure to explore on your own.

After breakfast, we leave for France, crossing Provence. We stop in Arles, a small world heritage city where we will remember Van Gogh and can see its Roman theatre and small Romanesque churches. Time for a stroll and lunch. We carry on and include admission to Carrieres De Lumiere, an impressive show of art, image, and sound underground, in former quarries. Chambery, arrival, and accommodation in the charming capital of Savoie, a medieval city with a beautiful old town and a great castle.

Day 4: Chambery - Geneva - Gruyeres - Chillon - Leysin (B/-/D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Next, travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers, and we can admire the “Jet d ́Eau,” the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of Gruyere, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (Nestle amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included! After this, we go on to Chillon Castle, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We will continue traveling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages.- Arrival in Leysin, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. After having breakfast at the hotel. Today's stage has beautiful high mountain scenery. Do ́t forget your winter clothes. We climb to one of the most spectacular spots in Switzerland, where you can see ice and snow all year round. We include the cable car ride up to Glacier 3000, where you can walk on the suspended bridge in the gap between two mountain peaks, enter the Ice Cathedral or play in the Fun Park. Stop in Interlaken, and time for lunch. Among very picturesque lakes, we continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Continue to Zurich, where there is time for a stroll downtown before going to the hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. We will leave Zurich early in the morning and cut across the Alps to reach the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Alongside the route, we will get to see beautiful lakes and snow-capped mountains. LUGANO. Arrival in the cosmopolitan capital of Italian Switzerland built next to its beautiful lake. Time to have a stroll and grab lunch. Next, we will reach the enchanting little town of MORCOTE, famous for its flowery stone houses. We will then travel to Italy. Arrival in MILAN, where the guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. Here you will find a variety of local and international restaurants to have dinner at. Transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the city of Rome. En route, we will explore Pisa, where you will take a little train to the monumental Field of Miracles to find the world-renowned Tower of Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation. The tower is situated behind the Pisa Cathedral and is the third-oldest structure in the city's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo), after the cathedral and the Pisa Baptistry. After this, you will visit the Ligurian Coast, with some of the prettiest coastlines in Europe. Our journey continues to Rome, where we will arrive this evening.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour. The “Eternal City” stands as one of the finest and oldest cities in the world. The history of Rome spans over 2500 years, and it has been a center of power, politics, culture, and development since its inception. The creation of the city is steeped in legend and mythology, and there are various accounts of how this majestic place was built. Various Roman emperors and Casers have ruled mighty Rome, and this is the place where the colossal Roman Empire grew. We recommend you visit the world-famous Colosseum (with the skip-the-line pass) and the Sistine Chapel, particularly famous for its extensive and detailed decorations, including the Last Judgement fresco by Michelangelo and the ceiling artwork. Another emblematic site to see it the Trevi Fountain, the detail of the sculptures is simply wonderful, and the whole facade and fountain are a true work of art signed by Nicola Salvi in 1762. In the evening, we will transfer you to the Via Cavour area, where you will find many international restaurants to enjoy your dinner. After dinner. Return to the hotel.

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, today you will proceed for a guided tour led by a local expert in Florence. Our first stop is the breathtaking viewpoint at Piazzale Michelangelo. Departing from Rome, we'll journey northward through picturesque landscapes until we reach Florence. Upon arrival, we'll head directly to the awe-inspiring Piazzale Michelangelo. Later in the day, we'll embark on a guided walking tour of the historic center, led by a knowledgeable local, where we'll explore iconic landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. After having breakfast at the hotel and departing in the morning, we included a cable car ride up to the high mountains in the Kitzbuhe region, with snow 9 months a year and fantastic scenery. The great landscapes on the platform in the void and the exhibition of dinosaurs will leave us with unforgettable memories. We will continue to explore Austria, traveling between the mountains and arriving in SALZBURG. Our guide will accompany us through the beautiful streets of this citys historic center, declared a World Heritage site. We make our way between lakes and mountains in the next stage. Our next stop is in ST. Wolfgang is a famous place of pilgrimage in Austria. We continue to Traunkirchen with its beautiful Traunsee Lake, where we take a cruise to see four castles, disembarking in Gmunden. After this, continue to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
