Meals Included: Breakfast

In the early morning before breakfast, join our optional tour to see the breathtaking sunrise at Angor Wat. Today, you will head on a tour of the Angkor Wat. This extraordinary complex is the crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, the national symbol of Cambodia, and the highlight of any visit to this breathtaking country. As the largest, best-preserved, and most religiously significant of the Angkor temples, Angkor Wat wows visitors by its sheer scale and beautifully proportioned layout, as well as the delicate artistry of its carvings. To approach the temple, first, you will cross the vast moat, continuing along a broad causeway lined with naga balustrades. As you enter the main building, make your way through a series of galleries and through the courtyard before you reach the central sanctuary, which boasts breathtaking views over the causeway and across the surrounding countryside. On the way, stop to see the intricate stone carvings adorning nearly every surface, with some 1,700 Apsaras, or celestial dancers, sculpted into the walls. Along the outer gallery walls, runs the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which narrates ancient stories from Hindu mythology, such as the famous Churning of the Ocean of Milk. Spend the afternoon at leisure or pre-book an optional tour to extend your visit to the Angkor Wat or see the White Gold Show.

Overnight in Siem Reap

If you book the combo meal plan: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, dinner will include an Apsara/Khmer traditional dance performance at a local restaurant.

After a hearty breakfast, prepare for an immersive half-day city tour showcasing three of Bangkoks most remarkable and historically significant Buddhist temples.vYour journey begins at Wat Traimit, home to the world-renowned Golden Buddha, a breathtaking statue crafted from 5 ½ tons of solid gold. This shimmering masterpiece, hidden under a plaster casing for centuries to protect it from invaders, was only rediscovered in the 1950s, making it one of Thailands most fascinating treasures.vNext, continue to Wat Pho, Bangkoks oldest and largest temple complex, renowned for housing the colossal Reclining Buddha. Stretching an impressive 46 meters in length and covered in gold leaf, this awe-inspiring statue symbolizes the Buddhas passage into Nirvana. Wat Pho is also famous for its intricately adorned Chedis of the Kings, a collection of towering, colorfully tiled stupas dedicated to past monarchs, as well as its reputation as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.Conclude your temple exploration at Wat Benjamaborpitr, also known as the Marble Temple, a stunning example of Thai craftsmanship. Constructed from pristine white Carrara marble imported from Italy, its elegant multi-tiered roofs and intricately carved gables reflect the harmonious fusion of Thai and European architectural influences. Inside, the main hall houses a magnificent bronze Buddha statue, while the surrounding courtyard features a striking collection of Buddha images from various regions of Thailand. After your temple tour, enjoy a leisurely afternoon at your own pace—whether by indulging in Bangkoks vibrant street food scene, exploring its lively markets, or relaxing at a riverside café. Thanks to Indus and Nicko Cruise for a great trip down the Danube. I had not been on a river cruise prior to this and found it a very relaxing way to travel and see some European highlights. The ship was superb. The staff served great meals, were friendly and accommodating. As far as the tours and city visits, they all gave us a reasonable amount of time and insight into the location we were visiting to come away with a sense that we had a good glimpse of the city and were able to spend some free time in the city as well. A special thanks to Dhruv our fearless leader from Indus who was a great organizer. Lastly - nice to meet all of you in our group. terry ...more ...less

Booked Mystical Egypt tour with them visiting Cairo and a 03 Nights Cruise from Luxor to Aswan in May. All services were perfect since the time we arrived at the airport, we were met by a hospitable Indus Representative who helped us with the purchase of local SIM and currency exchange. He was always there in time to assist for transfers. The Amwaj Cruise which we took from Luxor to Aswan was a Gem. We had great guides and all sightseeing worked like a clockwork. We enjoyed visiting Karnak Temples, Temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo and the boat ride to see Phillae Temple. Evening entertainment on cruise were great and engaging. In Cairo and Aswan, we had ample leisure time to explore on own, the Pyramids were impressive and visiting Khan e Khalili was fun. Overall and impressive and enjoyable tour, Thanks to Indus Travels! ...more ...less

06-Feb-2025

We recently enjoyed an amazing Indus tour of Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro and highly recommend visiting these beautiful countries with Indus. We found the scenery, architecture, culture and history all to be fascinating. Our tour guide was exceptional - so knowledgeable, kind and entertaining, and ensured the tour was a 5 star experience for all of the participants. It was a lovely group of people and we have even remained friends with a few. The hotel accommodations were excellent and the delicious breakfast buffets every morning made us eager to get our day started! I felt so safe at all times on our trip, including on all the drives with such an excellent bus driver. It was truly a wonderful adventure. ...more ...less

09-Jun-2023

Recently went on a Rhine River Cruise, a first for me. I must say the experience was exceptional, their tagline says. The group I was with were some of the most fun and interesting set of people I've ever traveled with. The ground transportation arrangements were top notch and comfortable. Variety in menu that we were provided with in the cruise was astounding. I was a bit worried if they'd have much options for me as I'm a vegetarian. But they not only had options, the taste was something I'd savor for foreseeable future. There's a reason Rhine cruises are popular owing to it's serene and picturesque route. Guided tours were very informative and gave us a bit of an insight of German culture. We had good amount of time to explore the towns on our own too. Strasbourg and Cochem were my favorite stops. Luckily the weather worked in our favour and it didn't rain the way it was predicted originally. No one from our group wanted the tour to end. If this trip was any indication, I can't wait to book my next trip with Indus Travels. ...more ...less

Indus Travel runs a highly professional organization. From customer service to brochures, bookings, tour guides, etc. and the consideration for their customers is superb. This was the first time I had travelled with Indus Travels. We took the Taste of Portugal Tour. Group numbers are small, accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging, and entertaining. This company is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational vacation with fine food - they will deliver! We will never forget this trip and we are already planning for another one to Wonders of Italy, Vienna, Budapest, and Prague. ...more ...less
