Today youll take a boat trip across Lake Togo to Togoville, a historic center of Voodoo, where many enslaved Africans were taken from. Visit the Maison Royal and active Voodoo shrines. Continue to Ouidah, the birthplace of Voodoo, and visit the historical museum and the sacred python temple, where pythons are revered. Learn about the transatlantic slave trade and the Portal of No Return, a memorial to those taken from Benin during slavery. End the day with a transfer to Cotonou.Â

Day 5: Cotonou - Lome – Ganvie – Lome (B/L/D)
