Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival in Rome, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details regarding the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. At the end of the evening, we will arrange a transfer to the Via Cavour area, a great introduction to Rome, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and International food.

Day 2: ROME (B/-/-)

In the morning after breakfast, you will explore Rome, the Eternal City, combining a walking tour with a panoramic bus ride. Admire the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum (from the outside) and the impressive Imperial Forums. Then, by bus, pass through the open-air museum of Rome, seeing majestic basilicas, Tiber Island, Lungotevere Avenue and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City, the heart of the Catholic Church. The afternoon is free, with the option to visit St. Peters Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the evening, you will be transferred to Trastevere, a picturesque district perfect for a leisurely walk through its narrow Cobblestone streets. Known for medieval churches, unique shops, and vibrant local life, Trastevere is full of trattorias and osterias offering traditional Italian dishes. Afterward, you will visit the Murano Glass Factory (entrance included), where you can marvel at the fascinating techniques used to create this ancient glass. Today after breakfast, you will depart from Venice, you will travel to Austria, arriving first in Innsbruck. Here, you will have time to explore the historic city center and enjoy lunch in the charming Tyrolean capital. Afterward, travel along scenic mountain roads to reach Kitzbühel, a renowned ski resort where snow is present for much of the year. Day 6: KITZBUHEL – SALZBURG – ST. WOLFGANG – TRAUNSEE LAKE – VIENNA (B/-/-)

From there, you head towards Traunkirchen, located by the picturesque Traunsee Lake, where you will enjoy a cruise to view four stunning castles on the lake, before disembarking in Gmunden. Following the cruise, a panoramic tour of Budapest, the \"Queen of the Danube,\" will highlight the city's most iconic sights. After the tour, you will have some free time to explore. What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
