If you’re looking for the best way to see the East Coast of Australia, then our 4 week guided Oz East Coast adventure is for you. Full of incredible experiences, K'gari (Fraser Island) will have you driving 4x4's on the beach, followed by sailing around the stunning Whitsundays 74 tropical islands. Heading to Magnetic Island, followed by snorkelling the magical Great Barrier Reef, plus much, MUCH more! You’ll have an awesome group leader to guide you along the way, and a great new group of friends to enjoy the trip with. Day 1 : Brisbane
Location: Brisbane

After landing in Brisbane you’ll jump on an included airport transfer to our hostel where you’ll meet the rest of your travel crew. Queensland’s capital is full of highlights for you to explore. We'll then get to chill out at the only city man-made beach in Australia called ‘The Lagoon.'
Day 2 : Brisbane

Today is a free day to spend the day your way—head to Australia Zoo for some Aussie wildlife or relax by ‘The lagoon.’ Tonight we’ll crank up the energy with a night out in Fortitude Valley!
Day 3 : Rainbow Beach
Location: Rainbow Beach
Accommodation: Hostel
Heading up to the laidback coastal town of Rainbow Beach, we’ll get to kick back on the sand or take a stroll through town.
Day 4 : Rainbow Beach

Day 5 - 7 : K'gari (Fraser Island)
Location: K'gari

You’ll be driving 4x4’s around the biggest sand island in the world, and spend the next 3 days on sand dunes and beaches. Our next swim stop is the beautiful turquoise waters of Lake McKenzie, followed by a float down the river of Eli Creek. Indian Heads lookout is our next stop for 360 views of K’gari, then we get to chill in the bubbles of the Champagne Pools. You will learn about the history of the Aboriginal culture on the island, spot dingoes in the wild, and see the stars as you sleep in a purpose built campsite with your group. Arriving back in Rainbow Beach, we’ll explore the colourful sand dunes before jumping on the overnight bus to Airlie Beach.
Day 8 : Airlie Beach

Once we’ve arrived in Airlie Beach, you can kick back at Airlie Beach’s awesome lagoon or go big with an optional scenic flight over the jaw-dropping Whitsundays. Chill vibes or epic views? Your call!
Day 9 - 11 : Whitsundays
Location: Whitsundays
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Today we’ll begin sailing the stunning Whitsundays, made up of 74 tropical islands. We’ll board our boat for the next 2 nights, relaxing and sunbathing on the deck as we sail to the outer parts of the Great Barrier Reef. See an abundance of marine life as you snorkel the fringing reefs. Next up is world-famous Whitehaven Beach, a stunning beach filled with swirls of fine white sand.
Day 12 : Magnetic Island
Location: Magnetic Island

Today we’ll jump on the ferry to a slice of tropical paradise - Magnetic Island. You’ll stay in beach front huts while you explore the best of this magical Island. Chill out in your ocean front hammock, hire a car and explore the hidden beaches.

Today we'll hike up the historic Forts Walk. Taking in the stunning views, keep your eyes open because if you’re lucky you’ll even spot wild koalas and rock wallabies!
Day 14 : Mission Beach

The chilled out beachfront town of Mission Beach is our next relaxation location. It’s also filled with adrenaline pumping activities that you may choose to do, from skydiving at 15,000ft over the Great Barrier Reef and rainforests, or white water rafting on the Tully River Rapids through the World Heritage Rainforest.

Welcome to the ultimate backpacker adventure hub, Cairns. Today we’ll fire up the good vibes with a BBQ at the Esplanade—good food, great views, and chill times.
Day 16 - 17 : Great Barrier Reef

It’s time to tick off a huge bucket list item and spend a full day on the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll spend the day sailing and snorkelling unique outer reef locations in this World Heritage listed site. Tonight we’ll see what Cairns nightlife has to offer!
Day 18 : Cairns
Location: Cairns

Today is your day to play! You’ll have all day to go full adrenaline with some optional activities, like bungee jumping or white-water rafting, or just do your own thing—no pressure, all fun.
Day 19 : Atherton Tablelands
Location: Cairns
Accommodation: Hostel
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Exploring the Aussie oasis of the Atherton Tablelands is next for Cairns, where you will swim under waterfalls and dormant volcano craters, and slide down natural rock slides, all while learning about this extraordinary place from your experienced guide. The night will finish with a farewell dinner and drinks to toast to the incredible adventures and friends we have made.

Your epic Aussie adventure ends in Cairns today, but we are here to help with onward travel or work in Oz for the rest of your time in Australia.
