Full of incredible experiences, from Sydney’s famous beaches and nightlife, to getting surf lessons from real Aussie surfer dudes in the famous Byron Bay. K'Gari (Fraser Island) will have you driving 4x4's on the beach, followed by sailing around the stunning Whitsundays 74 tropical islands. Heading to Magnetic Island, followed by cruising the magical Great Barrier Reef, plus much, MUCH more! After landing in Sydney you’ll jump on an included airport transfer to our hostel where you’ll meet the rest of your travel crew and get excited for your adventures to come!
Day 2 : Sydney

Today we’ll show you around the beautiful city of Sydney and learn about it’s fascinating culture and history. This evening we’ll head out for dinner and a few drink and show you the best of Sydney’s nightlife!
Day 3 : Sydney

Today we visit the world famous Bondi Beach where you can take a swim or just relax and work on your tan. We’ll then do the famous Bondi to Coogee Coastal walk and enjoy an Aussie beach BBQ and a few cold beers. This evening we jump on our overnight bus to Byron Bay.
Day 4 : Byron Bay

Explore the beautiful and famous surf town of Byron Bay. Chill out on the beach or work on your tan, live like a local! We'll enjoy a night out this evening.
Day 5 : Byron Bay

Today you’ll learn to surf with Aussie surfer dudes before enjoying a relaxing yoga class. The proper Byron Bay experience!
Day 6 : Byron Bay

This morning is an early start as we get up to walk to the beautiful Cape Byron Lighthouse for sunrise. Taking in the iconic views we'll chill out for the rest of the day.
Day 7 : Surfers Paradise

Today we head up to the iconic Surfers Paradise. We'll spend the day exploring the city and chilling out on the famous endless white sand beach. Get ready to party the night away tonight!

Get back to nature as you take in the breathtaking views of Surfers Paradise’s iconic coastline with an exhilarating jet boat ride.
We'll then make sure all the essential stuff you’ll need to live and work in Australia is sorted including signing you up to our Oz Jobs Program.
Day 9 : Brisbane

We head up to Brisbane today and will get to explore the highlights of Queensland’s capital with a city orientation tour. We’ll then get to chill out at the only city man-made beach in Australia called ‘The Lagoon.’
Day 10 : Brisbane

Today is a free day to spend the day your way—head to Australia Zoo for some Aussie wildlife or relax by ‘The lagoon.’ Tonight we’ll crank up the energy with a night out in Fortitude Valley!
Day 11 : Rainbow Beach

Heading up to the laidback coastal town of Rainbow Beach, we’ll get to kick back on the sand or take a stroll through town.
Day 12 - 14 : K'gari
Location: K'gari
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
You’ll get to drive 4x4’s around the biggest sand island in the world. The beach and sand dunes are your highway for the next 3 days. Swim in the incredible turquoise waters of Lake McKenzie, float down the lazy river of Eli Creek, chill in the bubbles of the Champagne Pools, learn about the Aboriginal history on the island, spot dingoes in the wild, and then sleep beneath the stars in a purpose built campsite with your group.
Day 15 : Rainbow Beach

Arriving back in Rainbow Beach, we’ll explore the colourful sand dunes before jumping on the overnight bus to Airlie Beach.
Day 16 : Airlie Beach

Once we’ve arrived in Airlie Beach, you can kick back at Airlie Beach’s awesome lagoon or go big with an optional scenic flight over the jaw-dropping Whitsundays. Chill vibes or epic views? Your call!
Day 17 - 19 : Whitsundays

Today we’ll begin sailing the stunning Whitsundays, made up of 74 tropical islands. We’ll board our boat for the next 2 nights, relaxing and sunbathing on the deck as we sail to the outer parts of the Great Barrier Reef. See an abundance of marine life as you snorkel the fringing reefs. Next up is world-famous Whitehaven Beach, a stunning beach filled with swirls of fine white sand.
Day 20 : Magnetic Island

Today we’ll jump on the ferry to a slice of tropical paradise - Magnetic Island. You’ll stay in beach front huts while you explore the best of this magical Island. Chill out in your ocean front hammock and explore the hidden beaches.

Today we'll hike up the historic Forts Walk. Taking in the stunning views, keep your eyes open because if you’re lucky you’ll even spot wild koalas and rock wallabies!
Day 22 : Mission Beach

The chilled out beachfront town of Mission Beach is our next relaxation location. It’s also filled with adrenaline pumping activities that you may choose to do, from skydiving at 15,000ft over the Great Barrier Reef and rainforests, or white water rafting on the Tully River Rapids through the World Heritage Rainforest.

Welcome to the ultimate backpacker adventure hub, Cairns. Today we’ll fire up the good vibes with a BBQ at the Esplanade—good food, great views, and chill times.
Day 25 : Great Barrier Reef

It’s time to tick off a huge bucket list item and spend a full day on the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll spend the day sailing and snorkelling unique outer reef locations in this World Heritage listed site. Tonight we’ll see what Cairns nightlige has to offer!

Today is your day to play! You’ll have all day to go full adrenaline with some optional activities, like bungee jumping or white-water rafting, or just do your own thing—no pressure, all fun.
Day 27 : Atherton Tablelands
Location: Atherton Tablelands

Exploring the Aussie oasis of the Atherton Tablelands is next for Cairns, where you will swim under waterfalls and dormant volcano craters, and slide down natural rock slides, all while learning about this extraordinary place from your experienced guide. The night will finish with a farewell dinner and drinks to toast to the incredible adventures and friends we have made.

Your epic Aussie adventure ends in Cairns on the morning of day 28, but we are here to help with onward travel or work in Oz for the rest of your time in Australia.

Is there a limit to luggage that can be brought on the tour?
No. However, we recommend packing relatively light as Australia is generally hot and we do move around a bit. We suggest anywhere from 10-20 kgs as a good amount.

Our trips are aimed at those aged 18 to 40’s. The majority of people that do our trips are aged 18 to 39, but we regularly have people in their 40's and occasionally 50’s travel with us who have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy to share your experience with people of different ages and backgrounds, you’ll fit in perfectly on any trip.

We operate our own socially conscious initiative called Small Change that aims to protect the environment, promote cultural exchange, support local communities and protect animal welfare. We use money a portion of the money you pay for the tour to achieve or goals. We also plant 10 trees for every booking we receive.
