This tour is specially designed for the travel lovers who have got limited time bound and wants to explore Gurung village and see beautiful Annapurna Mountain Range. Ghandruk is situated towards the northwest of Pokhara and is home to more than 2000 ethnic Gurung tribes as well as other minorities including Kami Damai and Chhetri Bahun. At an altitude of 600ft above sea level, Ghandruk is beautifully set against the backdrop of Annapurna South, Himchuli and Macchapuchre Himalayas.Ghandruk is surrounded by beautiful forests, hills and mountains. Ghandruk is home to a large number of indigenous species of plants, trees, and flowers as well as beautiful birds and mammals. Day 1 : Kathmandu Pokhara by Tourist Bus

Location: Pokhara

  • At 6 am, Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Tourist Bus station. Enjoy the scenic 5 hour drive. Check in at Hotel and free.
  • Meals not included
  • Accommodation included: Overnight at Hotel.


Day 2 : Drive to Nayapool, hike to Ghandruk village

Location: Ghandruk

  • After breakfast, your guides take you for a car drive around 1 hour to reach Nayapool. Nayapool is the initial spot for starting to hike. You will hike around 4-5 hours to reach the Ghandruk village. Enjoy the glorious mountains view and overnight at hotel or lodge.
  • Meals included: lunch, dinner, breakfast
  • Accommodation included: overnight at hotel or lodge


Day 3 : Sunrise and sightseeing at Village and drive back to Pokhara

Location: Pokhara

  • Enjoy the sunrise and after breakfast go for sightseeing of the Ghandruk village. Then hike about 45 minutes down to Kimche and take a 2 hours local vehicle drive to get back to Pokhara. Rest is free, overnight at Hotel
  • Meals included: breakfast, lunch
  • Accommodation included: overnight at Hotel


Day 4 : Pokhara Kathmandu by Tourist Bus

Location: Kathmandu

  • After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus. Your tour ends as guide drops you off at your Hotel.

I went on the "Kathmandu: Pharping, Dakshinkali and Chobar Tour with Lunch" tour un February 2020. The guide and driver picked me up on time in a very nice car. This is why I gave 2 stars and not 1. Other than that: - The description says that the tour includes visits of Asura cave, Shesnarayan temple, Gorakhnath temple, Dakshinkali temple and the Chobar Gorge. However, we did not visit Shesnarayan and Gorakhnath temples. - Pictures in the description have been taken prior to the 2015 earthquake. The temple at Chobar Gorge has been severely damaged and doesn't look like that. I understand that this is out of the control of the tour company. However, pictures should be updated. - We stopped at 2 monasteries (including the one with the giant monument showed in the description). Both monasteries were closed. I was then told to take pictures through a hole in the gate. - We stopped at a cavern that was apparently closed since last year. - The description says that this is a 8h tour. I was back at my hotel after 4 hours. - There was a large number of kids on the road that were trying to stop cars by standing on the road with ropes. They were asking money. The driver was driving the car as close as possible to scare them. The guide and him found it very funny. I would not recommend this tour. ...more ...less

Oh they are just so pathetic. Their parking staff is just so arrogant and rude. Just so unprofessional. Recommended to avoid them
