Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast at the hotel then with your Egyptologist guide start your day tour by visiting the Pyramids of Giza where the greatness has been embodied in three pyramids with a limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the whole area. The Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx are among the most popular tourist destinations in the World, and indeed already were even in Roman times. Each of these spectacular Pyramids served as the final resting place of the Pharaoh king of the 4th Dynasty (Many people & scholars now don’t believe this theory ) The Great Pyramid of Giza was built for King Khufu (c.2589–2566 BC), and the other two for Khafre and Menkaure, his son and grandson. Khufu’s pyramid is both the oldest and largest of the three, and the first building to exceed it in height would not be built for another 3,800 years.
Although the three pyramids dominate the plateau, they are in fact surrounded by many other monuments, enjoy stunning photos on the Panorama of the Pyramids then move to the Great Sphinx of Giza It was carved directly out of the bedrock during the 4th Dynasty which also makes it the oldest.
Ancient Egyptian sphinxes represented the king with the body of a lion, in a clear demonstration of his power. The Great Sphinx has captured the imagination of travelers and explorers for millennia, even in ancient Egyptian times. During the 18th Dynasty, it came to be seen as a manifestation of the sun god, and was called Horemakhet “Horus in the Horizon”. King Amenhotep II (c.1427–1400 BC) built a temple next to the Sphinx, which he dedicated to this god. His son, Thutmose IV (c.1400–1390 BC), erected a monumental stela between its front paws, called the Dream Stela, on which he recorded a fascinating event.
After your visit to the Giza Plateau enjoy your Lunch at a local restaurant then move to Saqqara is one of the most important cemeteries of Old Memphis, which was itself one of the most important cities in ancient Egyptian history.
The name of the Sakkara most likely derives from the god of this necropolis, Sokar. Saqqara is truly an open-air museum, one that has all ancient Egyptian history on display. Start by visiting the Step Pyramid of Djoser the oldest pyramid in Egypt of King Zoser or Djoser (c.2686–2667 BC). Then visit one of the tombs of the noblemen of the old kingdom which are decorated with scenes of the daily life in ancient Egypt and texts of outstanding beauty and craftsmanship.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is one of the mega national projects that is a great addition to Egyptian tourism and international cultural and media tourism. It reflects the extent of Egyptian international cooperation, as it is considered one of the largest civilizational and archaeological projects in the world, and the largest museum in the world dedicated to one civilization, which is the ancient Egyptian civilization. After that enjoy your lunch at a traditional restaurant then move to
then move to the Coptic Cairo, or as Egyptian call it (Old Cairo) contained within the boundaries of the Roman fortress of Babylon where the Copts built their churches for protection. For three hundred years, from the conversion of Emperor Constantine until the arrival of Islam, Egypt was a Christian nation, and the Coptic church is one of the oldest communions as well as the church that really pioneered austere monasticism in the remote desert.
There are still tens of thousands of Copts in Egypt, many of whom live in Old Cairo. Their most famous church is that of El Muallaqa, the Hanging Church, built over one of the gateways into the old fortress, its nave suspended above the passageway. Also in Old Cairo the Saints Sergius church that have The Crypt where the Holy Family took shelter during their flee to Egypt, also there is the synagogue of Ben Ezra. (Under restoration) Once home to many Jewish families, few now remain scattered throughout Cairo. There has been a religious building on this site (initially a church, then a synagogue) since at least the 4th century, and the present synagogue houses a Torah on gazelle skin that dates to the 5th century BC.
This whole area is a world-famous destination for Christian Pilgrims, End your day by visiting the old Bazaar of Cairo, Khan el-Khalili is a major souk in the historic center of Islamic Cairo.
