The tour was excellent on many levels. A lovely, private only two of us on board. Our guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable for every location. The use of local guides and support people was also well incorporated in some locations. Highlights were most certainly the High Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert experience. I am definitely coming back to Morocco. ...more ...less

Our trip to Morocco was well planned by Ismail, the tour operator, in spite of several little departures from the original program. The star of our adventure was Said, our driver. Congenial, well dressed, and above all very punctual and knowledgeable. We felt that his punctuality was a sign of high professionalism. His good nature set a relaxed tone to our trip. His help with physical chores is also very commendable. Most of our hosts were very nice and highly professional. I apologize to those whom I forgot. We started with Ali at Riad Zaki, who made our stay in Marrakesh very pleasant. He was followed by Ayoub at the splendid Dar Blues. Youssef and Hakim, the camel driver made our camel-riding experience a very pleasant one. All the personnel at Camp Tiziri were not only very skilled and helpful as hosts should be, but also very talented musicians. Muhammad at Riad Chebi was of great help, too. Our host at Lalla Zoubida in Fes, Muhammad (I think) was very kind and helped with the room selection. The guide in Fes, Mariam was both enthusiastic AND knowledgeable and made our visit utterly delightful. Muhammad at Dar Elrio in Chefchaouen and the hotel personnel helped us a lot with luggage and orientation. We were very pleased with the nice Val D’anfa hotel in Casablanca. ...more ...less
