Thank you Morocco private tours

30-May-2019

The experience was very beautiful and in three days we got to see many things in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The road is long but Youssaf is an excellent driver, prudent and very nice. A very positive thing is that everything is included in the price except for launches, and Youssaf has always stopped in good quality and also inexpensive restaurants. The guided tours are great and the hotels are very beautiful. The first night was wonderful, the dinner was excellent and we slept very well. Unfortunately the second day it started to rain and this coincided with our arrival in Merzouga: the road was difficult but Youssaf remained very positive and each of us reached the camp in time. We also met nice people from all over the world that shared the journey with us. On the third day the return was a bit heavy, there are many hours of road but I assure you that it is really worth it. We have been treated very well. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend you to book with them. It’s a must do! ...more ...less

3 Days Sahara tour from Marrakech Shared group

26-Apr-2019

As a solo, female traveller who has been on 15 tours in the past 12 months, all around the world, i can safely say I've certainly had my share of experiences. This tour, easily being the greatest I've ever taken. The thought and care that went into the little details was what set this tour apart. We car danced, laughed, talked in depth about Moroccan culture and sung songs from the perfect road trip playlist our guide played. We were encouraged to get out of the car and instead walk a short while down a few of the spectacular stretches of road we encountered. Never have i had a guide suggest this to me, and it was a breathtaking experience. The view of driving into the desert and the overall stay, I’ll remember forever. From the camel ride, where the guides took so many spectacular photos for us, to the traditional Berber music that was played after dinner. The pure happiness that the guides expressed as they played and shared with us their love of their culture was an absolute joy to watch and be a part of. The main difference was this tour was not a sales pitch. There were opportunities to purchase souvenirs, if you were quick, but this was never the main purpose of the stop it was for, coffee, water or toilets etc. The guides after the camel ride did offer a few local handmade products, but they were not pushy and you’re right near camp so if you’re not interested - just walk back. I personally love to support locals when they’re sharing their culture with me, so if you’re with me on that - then bring some change. The quality of the accommodation, vehicle and included food were spot on for the price. The two meals we did pay for were 100dirhams for three courses (under $10 USD). Our guide was a gem, he was the reason I will remember this experience for a lifetime. I felt safe and cared for the entire trip, he constantly checked what we needed and made sure I didn’t go more than a couple of hours without access to coffee, water and access to toilets. Not once did I even think about the fact, I was a ‘solo’ traveller, because I was too wrapped up in the experience he created. I don’t usually write reviews this long, but after all the lengthy research I did to select this trip, I just hope it makes it easier for the next person. My few tips are, take small change with you for toilets, take thermals to sleep in if you get cold and one thing I wish I had of done was take a few local sweets from home for the kids that we met along the way. Thank you Ali and the Moroccan Joy Team, you really did exactly that and delivered pure joy throughout the trip. ...more ...less

Fantastic three days trip to Sahara

17-Apr-2019

What a great trip! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and really benefited from Abdul's in-depth knowledge about Morocco, the Berber’s, and sights. It was a truly remarkable trip, and we'll cherish the memories for a long time to come, especially the night in the desert, camel ride, and Berber music. Abdul was very attentive and proactive, and his communication skills are fantastic. We really recommend this trip with Abdul! ...more ...less

3 Days Sahara tour

10-Oct-2019

I could not have asked for a better experience. If you want a true tour of Morocco, this is the real deal. Not only can you expect to have the best time with your tour guide (ours was Yassine) but, upon arriving to the camp you are welcomed into the large team that runs the place. We left feeling like we have a ginormous family in Morocco, we have to return back to!! The tours are so well-thought-out (by Moroccan natives), the scenery is better than any American National Park I’ve ever been to, the food at the camp is seriously the best we’ve had in Morocco and, the memories are something you will talk about forever. Food, great company, memorable adventures, insane activities to chose from once you get to the camp + wifi to work remotely (which I did). We just had the best few days of our lives with Morocco Private Tours and, will be back without a doubt! Counting our days until we can return back to the funnest camp, our new friends, the best Moroccan food and, the most amazing views of the Sahara (you literally walk onto it as you leave your tent)!!! This is the real deal! Book it! And stay longer than 2 nights or, you will just ask to extend your stay once you get there anyways!!! ...more ...less

Amazing shared group tour, we visited and felt Morocco taking our time. Morocco Private tours was great organizing, very flexible and patient with me. Ismail is the best guide/driver you could have, so friendly and helpful, he gave us lots of tips about Morocco. We always felt safe with him. We absolutely have to go back for a Sahara tour. ...more ...less
