Tour Overview

Mera is a snow-capped mountain peak that is 6476m tall, located in Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal. It is a great choice for those looking for a short but adventurous climbing trip. To reach the summit of this magnificent peak, you will need to embark on a 14-day journey starting from Kathmandu. You will need an experienced mountain guide and appropriate climbing gear. During this trek, you will have the opportunity to explore the typical villages of local ethnic groups such as Sherpa, Rai, Magar, and Gurung. You will also pass through beautiful terraced fields and flowing mountain rivers before arriving at Khare, the last settlement in the region. We believe that the views of Mera Peak are some of the most spectacular and glorious trekking peaks in the world. Mera Peak has 3 summits, and the highest one at 6476m is our objective. We will leave the beaten Mera Peak trail, cross the Hinku valley, and stay in rarely visited villages, spending time high above the main trail, gathering extra acclimatization and conditioning surrounded by stunning scenery and unique valleys.

MERA PEAK CLIMBING FIRST EXPERIENCE IN THE HIMALAYAN

05-Apr-2019

"I am extremely satisfied with my Mera Peak Climbing Trek as it combined both trekking and climbing, fulfilling my hunger for both activities simultaneously. During the trek, I had a great time observing the beautiful animals, flora, and fauna along the trail. After summiting, the view was breathtaking, with many Himalayan ranges visible, including Mount Everest, Lhotse Sar, Barunche, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Khesar, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaroo, and countless other peaks. Overall, I am very pleased with this trip. Our climbing guide was highly skilled and certified with the NMA certificate. He was very active and helpful during the climb, teaching us many techniques and skills. I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire team and the company for organizing this trip, and I hope to summit with them again next year."

"MERA PEAK WINTER EXPEDITION"

03-Aug-2020

"We hired Mount Adventure Holidays to climb Mera Peak. We planned to climb Mera Peak and then proceed to Hinku Valley to cross the Amphu Lapsa and reach Chukung. However, we were unable to complete the second part of our trek due to heavy snowfall. Throughout the climb, our team members Nima, Pasang, and Lakpa were exemplary in their behavior. The food provided by the team was sufficient in both quality and quantity. The High Camp was located at an elevation of 5895m above sea level, and while it was quite windy and cold, the camping team and climbing guide provided us with great hospitality and service. As for Mount Adventure Holidays, we are pleased to say that their service was excellent, with a reasonable price, making the quality-price ratio outstanding. Our guide, Sherpa Lakpa, was a highly qualified professional who knew the route and possible approaches very well. We followed an alternative route to Khote to reach Hinku Valley, which was beautiful despite the bad weather."

” EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE OF NEPAL!(Mera Peak)

03-Aug-2020

"I found the services provided by the Mount Adventure Holidays Team to be good value for money in comparison to other agencies. Thanks to the reasonable acclimatization program, I was able to reach the summit without any health issues. Pasang Sherpa, our guide, was always helpful and willing to answer all of our queries. Similarly, our trekking guide and porter demonstrated a good attitude towards their work. However, I believe that the climbing guides responsible for the last section should be selected more carefully, as they need to take better care of their customers. Despite this, they were fun and knowledgeable. It was refreshing to go somewhere not so well-trodden, and the views were absolutely stunning. In my opinion, the Mount Adventure Holidays Team is one of the best trip organizers in Nepal."
