A Memorable Dive into Nepali Heritage!

27-May-2023

This 3 night-4 day tour of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur was a delightful experience, offering a comprehensive view of Nepal's rich heritage. Starting with the seamless airport pick-up to the comfortable accommodations, everything was well-organized. Our guide, Sunita, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and her passion for her country's history was evident in her detailed explanations. Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square were the highlights, offering us a chance to immerse ourselves in Nepal's spiritual and architectural wonders. The hotel was centrally located, which was a plus. However, the room faced a busy street, so it got a bit noisy at times. The food was a delightful culinary journey, with the hotel restaurant serving some of the best momos we've ever tasted! One suggestion: It would have been great to have a bit more free time built into the itinerary for independent exploration. We felt rushed at times, especially in Bhaktapur. All in all, a wonderful experience with just a few minor hitches. For those looking to explore Nepal's cultural landmarks in a short span, this tour is an excellent choice.

A Cultural Epiphany!

09-Oct-2023

From the moment we landed at Tribhuvan International Airport to our regretful goodbye, this 3 night-4 day Kathmandu and Bhaktapur tour exceeded all our expectations. The airport pick-up was prompt, with our friendly guide, Raj, greeting us with marigold garlands and a warm Nepali welcome. The hotel, nestled in the heart of Thamel, was a blend of traditional aesthetics and modern comforts. Each morning began with a delicious buffet breakfast, featuring both local and international delights. Our days were packed with exploration: from the serene ambiance of Swayambhunath to the bustling streets of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The inclusion of a knowledgeable guide made all the difference. Raj was a treasure trove of information, regaling us with tales of ancient kings, divine deities, and the living goddess Kumari. Evenings were free for us to explore, and we particularly loved the myriad of restaurants and cafes in Thamel. We also appreciated the surprise cultural performance on our last night. A whirlwind of colors, music, and dance, it perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Nepal. Would we recommend this tour? Absolutely! For anyone wanting a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, this is the tour to book.

Hi Tilak! We thank you and your team for arranging this trip on short notice. The guide Srihari was well-knowledgeable of Nepalese socio-culture, history and politics. We had a fabulous time visiting Kathmandu and Bhaktapur's cultural heritage sites. It's our first and short visit to Kathmandu. We will come again next time soon with a longer vacation, and contact you again.
