With this tour, you get to visit the golden Saharan sands and experience the vibrant city life of Marrakesh with the guidance of an English-speaking tour guide that will show you some hidden gems that no visitors should miss. One highlight you can look forward to is the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend the night in an authentic Berber camp under the stars in the desert. The tour will end at the humming city of Marrakesh- the perfect place to wind down after your adventurous tour of Morocco. The sights of Marrakech are as magical as you would imagine, and it is the most recommended place to visit first in Morocco. This Morocco holiday provides some time in Marrakech before you get to experience an incredible camel ride into the Sahara. After that, we will visit the lovely city of Essaouira for a day and finally return to Marrakech. A fantastic hotel based tour, this Morocco tour package includes stays at a 3/4* hotel along with a night of exciting camping in a traditional Berber camp under the stars in the desert. Transportation is either by a minivan or 4x4 Land cruiser.

Day 1 : Marrakech

Location: Marrakesh

Welcome to Morocco!
Following your transfer from the airport to our joining hotel, you can relax by the hotel pool before the pre- departure meeting at 18:00 hrs. where you will meet your guide and fellow travellers.
Overnight Marrakech (Dinner included).

Day 2 : Sahara Desert

Location: Zagora

Accommodation: Camp

Accommodation Name: Caravane du Sud

Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Today, we enjoy a stunning drive over the High Atlas en-route to Zagora. We pass through the Draa Valley, a green and lush land of palmeries and amazing vistas.
It is then time to head towards the great desert, where we transfer to camels for a trek into the Sahara Desert for a night at our authentic Berber Camp.
We enjoy local food, music, and an amazing night out under the Saharan stars.
Overnight Berber camp (Breakfast & Dinner included).

Day 3 : Marrakech

Leaving the desert, we travel back to Marrakech stopping for lunch en-route.
We arrive back in Marrakech where we have an optional dinner in Djemaa El Fna (the legendary Main Square). Overnight Marrakech (Breakfast included).

Day 4 : Essaouira

We leave Marrakech after breakfast and take a leisurely drive to Essaouira; a colourful fishing town situated within 15th century Portuguese fortifications, where great beaches and surf beckon.
You have the day to relax on the beach or alternatively explore the UNESCO-listed medina with its various souks and woodcarving workshops. Any city gate leads to the medina, so you are unlikely to get lost.
The beach is in front of the Medina and there are plenty of cafés with terraces, both ideal for relaxing for a few hours. Blue doors and window frames abound as do the artist’s shops – buy a carpet or Thuya wood carving or sit on the beach sipping a mint tea as the sun sets.
There is the opportunity to do some optional activities, such as quad biking, surfing, horse trekking and wind surfing. Enjoy a great night out in Essaouira.

Day 5 : Marrakech

Location: Marrakesh

Meals Included: Breakfast

We will have breakfast over-looking the Atlantic this morning, then head back to Marrakech where the tour finishes on arrival. (Breakfast included).
