Hill Tribes, Halong Bay & Beyond - 13 days

26-Jul-2024

We had a fantastic time. The tour was well thought out. My one change would be the three hour hike in the hill tribe part. It was stupidly hot the day we hiked. Unfortunately, the bottom half of the trail had been bulldozered, and was practically straight downhill. Our guide, Hung, said this was new from the last time he had done the trek. It spoiled the walk. It may be better to hike around on the top of the hills within the Hmong community. Cooler and better views. Otherwise, it was all wonderful. Both guides were so knowledgable. They also did a fantastic job in helping with the food allergies and ensuring the food was suitable.
