I was amazed by the amount of awesome inclusions, tour structure and guide.

21-Aug-2019

Having so many awesome reviews I had high expectations of travelling with One Life but I was amazed by the amount of awesome inclusions, tour structure and guide. Our guide Mike was awesome making sure we knew what was happening, what was needed, when we had some free time and making sure the group mingled, spot on! Even after adventure packed days and fun nights exploring he was up the next day pumping us up for the day ahead. The itinerary was packed with locations and activities for us to learn and explore so many aspects of Japan which was always aided by our super knowledgeable and passionate guide. After experiencing so much together I have made a fam for life in this tour! 100% recommend travelling with One Life and would definitely hit them up for future travels to one of their other locations! Cheers to Mike for making us 'live our best One Life' in Japan! ✌

To simply say I enjoyed this tour would be a huge understatement!

To simply say I enjoyed this tour would be a huge understatement! Choosing to join this One Life tour made my time spent in Japan everything I had hoped for and then some! The friends I made on this tour, along with the amazing guidance from Mike, created a trip I will cherish for years to come. Getting to explore Japan with a wonderful group of unique individuals from all over the globe was an experience I know I couldn't have gotten without being on this tour. Our tour guide Mike was an excellent leader and really looked out for the group to make sure we were having the best time possible! He was also quick to respond when issues arose and handled everything with a relaxing ease and got those who needed help back on their feet without stress. I would without a doubt recommend this tour for anyone itching to explore Japan and on the lookout for some new travel friends! I have countless happy memories from this trip and it was tough to say farewell at the end! The locations we travelled to were varied and I feel like we got to see a great mix of what Japan is all about. From the big city lights of Tokyo to the small town of Hakone in the mountains. Each stop offered a unique experience and has only made me want to return one day!

Experience of a lifetime, i can most definitely recommend!

03-Aug-2019

Amazing tour, allowed us to really see and experience Japan and has exceeded all my expectations. The tour is packed with a lots of sightseeing and fun and crazy activities. Allowed us to experience parts of Japan that usually stay hidden from tourism (Kendo class, sleeping in a temple, meditation early in the morning with a Buddhist monk, hidden bars in Osaka, and lots more!). Wonderful group of people from all over the world whom i still miss being back home, and the best tour guide ever! Mike created a great atmosphere and took wonderful care of us. He made sure we could just enjoy and have fun without any worries. Experience of a lifetime, i can most definitely recommend!

Absolute once in a lifetime trip.

05-Aug-2019

Absolute once in a lifetime trip. Had an incredible time really immersing ourselves in the culture. Our guide was superb - always looking out for the griup, teaching us about Japanese culture and history, and giving excellent recommendations about places to visit during and after the trip. The group made the tour so much fun and gave a real sense of safety and support. It was a real privilege to participate in a Kendo lesson with a samurai descendant and to meditate with a Buddhist monk. The places we visited were varied which made it feel like we had seen a huge amount of different aspects of Japan. Utterly amazing. Thank you OneLife, I hope to join your team on another tour in the future.

Onelife Adventures has been an unforgettable and amazing experience

12-Mar-2020

Onelife Adventures has been an unforgettable and amazing experience travelling with an organised tour in Japan. I have met many people and made many great friends who have come from around the world. I would highly recommend Onelife Adventures to anyone who is unable to find anyone to travel with and doesn’t want to go alone. There is plenty of free time to explore each city of Japan so you get a perfect balance of exploring yourself or exploring with others. Thank you so much Onelife Adventures for giving me a great experience of Japan

Visiting an array of Japan’s unique areas

03-Dec-2019

This tour is the perfect way to experience Japan! As a first time solo traveller I was a little nervous about going but I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Visiting an array of Japan’s unique areas (Tokyo, Hakone, Takayama, Kyoto and Osaka) you really get a taste of the variety this spectacular county has to offer through a mixture of incredible sight seeing and once-in-a-lifetime activities. My personal highlight would be the timely temple stay which gave us the chance to unwind after an energising 3 days in Tokyo. Our tour guide Brooke was beyond amazing, she was so knowledgable and enthusiastic about the areas we visited and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone on the tour was getting the most out of their trip. Brooke’s infectious positivity kept the group in high spirits throughout the tour, particularly on some of the early morning starts to avoid the crowds (which are totally worth it for the photos). Not only did Brooke keep the group organised and stress free throughout the trip, she also gave some awesome recommendations on things to do and places to eat/drink during our free time to explore. As cheesy as it may be, this tour really is a once in a lifetime trip and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about going.

I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life.

19-Jun-2020

It was actually my first time taking a trip so far from my country (El Salvador) and it was a solo trip... I was so scared and excited at the same time but that was a great decision. I met wonderful people and amazing places and did things that I never imagined that I could do. I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life.

if you want to visit Japan and see as much of it as possible in 10 days this is the tour you want to do!!!

17-Sep-2019

What can I say....coming to Japan was a dream of mine for quiet some time. Now that I had the funds and means to travel there I thought choosing a guided tour would be the best option. Who better than One Life! The past 10 days on tour have been life changing for me. I’ve loved every moment, met some fantastic people, became good friends and saw the most amazing places I’ve ever seen in my life! Our tour guide Jack was the main reason why this tour was so amazing! He crafted this tour to be the best it can be and IT IS THE BEST! Everything he did, his advice, his tips, his help, his care, his banter made everything all go so smoothly. It didn’t feel like you were guided round by a tour guide paid by the hour it felt like you were being shown the best spots by a good mate! I could go on and on about how good and amazing this tour was etc but really trust me, if you want to visit Japan and see as much of it as possible in 10 days this is the tour you want to do!!!

If you were like me six months ago and looking at this tour thinking it is too good to be true - I encourage you to take the leap!

01-Oct-2019

If you were like me six months ago and looking at this tour thinking it is too good to be true - I encourage you to take the leap! I can't say enough about this tour. It was a blast and it was fast paced - every day was busy, whether it was a travel day or a walk up to see monkeys! Japan is not known for its vegetarian-friendly food, but I was quite impressed on how most meals were adjusted to suit us and not leave us out of the bonding time. We were left on our own a few times, but it gave us a chance to find some amazing food in a smaller group. Highlights of the trip for me were Kyoto and Takayama - both beautiful to see, historic, and neat to wander around. Accommodations were exactly how you'd want them to be - comfortable enough for sleep but that's all you'll be seeing them for, so no need for anything lavish. They were very clean and pretty comfy. Can't say enough kind words about our guide, Adam - kept us all wrangled and was incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. I will be using One Life again - can't wait til next time!

SiobhanBillington

The Japan tour was epic. From the irltinerary to the accommodation, I was not disappointed.

09-Nov-2019

The Japan tour was epic. From the irltinerary to the accommodation, I was not disappointed. I feel like I saw all the different sights of japan and more, with help from Adam. Adam was helpful, friendly and approachable throughout the tour, and is a great asset to the company. I felt confident in Adam to take us to the best places and his generosity continued when he still helped me after the tour had finished in how to get around japan. The included activities were excellent and I was very impressed by the little I had to contribute to the tour financially. In comparison to other tours that I had been on, I would say one life is one of the best I have been on and would recommend to anyone looking to travel in a Group.
