Day 1 : Delhi

Location: Delhi

Accommodation: Hotel

Meet our representative at Delhi Airport and transfer to hotel at arrival in Delhi. After breakfast and some relax, discover the Delhi. Morning visit the 400-years-old Jama Mosque (the largest in India) and local market. Later visit Red Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). In the afternoon enjoy drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's Palace) and India Gate (a war memorial arch built in honour of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War –I). Explore the famous Humayun's Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Qutab Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site- the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet (72.54 m)). Day 2 : Jaipur

Location: Jaipur

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

After breakfast travel to the pink city - Jaipur. Check in the hotel and start sightseeing with the guide.
First do the sightseeing of the Royal Palace. After that do the sightseeing of Hawa Mahal - a characteristic pink wall with more than 1000 small windows and do the shopping at the local market.
Cooking classes are organised in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Jaipur

Location: Jaipur

After breakfast visit the magnificent fort situated in Amber town near Jaipur. Later on stop at the Jal Mahal and take a picture of the beautiful palace on water. Next, visit a place where tombs of the Kings of Jaipur can be admired - Gaitor tombs. After that you will be taken to the complex of Monkey temples - Galta Gi situated on the picturesque hills. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Agra

Location: Agra

After breakfast journey to Agra. Agra is a home for one of the seven wonders in the world the symbol of eternal love-The Taj Mahal. The monument was built by the emperor Shahjahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is located on the banks of Yamuna and brings a huge tourism to Agra. Meet the guide and do local sightseeing of Agra. First, you will go sightseeing of the monument on UNESCO list - Agra Fort which is one of the most wonderful forts in India. Later on you will have an opportunity to spend some time at the market in Agra. Overnight at the hotel.
Note - Please note that sightseeing of Taj Mahal depends on the date of arrival. Taj Mahal is closed on Friday, so in this case we show The Taj Mahal one day before or late at the sunset or the sunrise.

Day 5 : Orchha

Location: Orchha

Visit the symbol of love Taj Mahal with the guide at down. After breakfast drive to the small Hindu town Orchha. Once a princely state, Orchha lies in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. The town of Orchha was founded in 15th century AD and in today's world it is renowned for its numerous temples, palaces and forts. Highly popular amongst them are the Jehangir Mahal of Orchha (Classic Mughal architecture), Raj Mahal and Laxmi Narayan temple (mural paintings). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Khajuraho

Location: Khajuraho

After breakfast travel to Khajuraho which is famous for eastern and western group of temples, Khajuraho is known for its cluster of Hindu and Jain temples. Under this, you would be visiting Laxmi & Varha temples, Kandariya Mahadev temple and Devi Jagdambi temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Varanasi

Location: Varanasi

After early breakfast travel to Varanasi which is the most significant city for Hinduism. Check in the hotel and refresh. In the evening enjoy a boat cruise on Ganga river watching "Arti" - a spectacular ceremony of offering fire to the Gods. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Varanasi

After breakfast, leave for Sarnath (6 km away). Sarnath in the northeast of Varanasi is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. A highly sacred Buddhist religious place, Sarnath lies at the confluence of two rivers-Ganga and Gomati. Popular attractions here are Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Museum and Chaukhandi Stupa. Post that return to Varanasi. In Varanasi, you would be visiting Alamgir mosque, Dashashwamedh ghat and Bharat Mata temple. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

Day 9 : Lumbini

Location: Lumbini

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Nepal border and later on check in at the hotel in Lumbini. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Chitwan

Location: Chitwan

After breakfast visit the site where Buddha was born and many temples. Later on travel to Chitwan national park which is the biggest in Asia. n Pokhara. Chitwan National Park is the most famous national park in Nepal which offers 450 species of birds including four species of deer, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar and much other wildlife. This park is well known for one horned Rhinoceros and it is a shelter for few Royal Bengal Tigers. Besides this Chitwan also supports a great variety of flora and fauna. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at Lodge at Chitwan.Check in the hotel near the park. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : Pokhara

Location: Pokhara

Accommodation: Hotel

Morning safari in the park You can choose an elephant ride or a jeep safari. Admire the beauty of nature and animal species. Later on breakfast in the hotel. Travel to Pokhara. Pokhara is the gateway to the Himalayas. The Pokhara valley is the second biggest valley in the central hilly region of Nepal after Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 : Pokhara

Location: Pokhara

Leisure time in Pokhara which you can spend having a boatride on the Phewa lake with a stopover at Varahi temple, do some shopping and sightseeing - local temples and the Devi waterfall. On your request early morning trekking to the viewpoint Sarangkot can be organised. You can also try helicopter flight or paragliding in the valley.
Evening is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Kathmandu

Location: Kathmandu

In the morning we start our sightseeing by visiting Durbar Square. Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. The old royal palace at the centre of the city was surrounded by temples and other important buildings. After Durbar Square we will visit Swayambhunath. The stupa at Swayambhunath is the most important and oldest site of Buddhist worship in Nepal. Swayambhunath Stupa is famous for the eyes of Buddha which seem to observing the world from all 4 directions. After Swayambhunath we visit Bodnath. Bodnath is the largest Stupa of Nepal. Now we proceed to the temple city of Pashupatinath which is Nepal' s most important Hindu pilgrim site on the banks of the Bagmati river. The temple of Pashupatinath is dedicated to god Shiva. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 : Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur

Location: Kathmandu

Morning flight over the Himalayas on reqest (200 usd per person). After breakfast travel Patan. Patan was the second largest town in the valley.The famous King Ashoka built the Stupas at four corners in the 250 BC. The temple architecture here gave this city fame to be unique and most beautiful. After Patan we proceed to Bhaktapur, the third biggest city of the valley. Bhaktapur has preserved its mediaeval character better than Patan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 : Kathmandu - Delhi by air

Location: Kathmandu

Transfer to te airport for a fight to Delhi. Transfer to the hotel or another location in Delhi.

India and Nepal . Never a dull moment in an ever amazing experience. Mr Kumar easily arranged and customized our trip for my wife and myself to include Golden Triangle, Varanasi, Lumbini, Chitwan National Park and Kathmandu. Our driver/navigator was Mithiun. He catered and anticipated our needs every step of the way in an efficient and courteous manner. Car was comfortable. 3 stars hotels are good except for Jaipur. Please do not hesitate to take this lifetime experience. I recommend the following: Ask for Mithun as driver, pay extra for 4 stars hotels in Jaipur, have plenty of rupees in 50 and 100 bills to give to diverse groups of individuals you may want to share a little fortune with. What an awesome tour that we had in April 2022 just after easing restrictions in India. Paylesstoursindia made all the arrangements and customised the tour as we'd asked them for. Both India and Nepal was a great driving experience and this is because of our driver Sunil who looked after us really well during all the tour and never let us down. I really recommend Mount Everest flight which is additionally paid but definitely worth its price and little trekking in Pokhara. In India all the places were so different and intersting with Varanasi as a highlight. We are planning to come to the southern India again. ...more ...less

We had a gorgeous trip in India and Nepal. The sights, the cities and the people were unforgettable. Inspiring cultures and delicious food that we got to know along the way. We traveled as a couple. The best and safest thing was our driver Bholu. We always felt good with him, he always took our interests into account and was very polite, and we also had a lot of fun with him. Our family of four visited India and Nepal over the first two weeks of August. It was my fourth visit, my husband's second, and the kids' first time. India is always a great experience period. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go, but it was great to know the ins and outs from Neeraj as a local expert. There was plenty of back and forth between us, but it was to ensure the itinerary was tight and things go smoothly from day 1. And Neeraj was always accessible and responsive. I think the most I appreciated using him was relying on them to arrange all the transportation without lifting a finger. :) We saw all the places in India on our bucket list like Agra, Delhi, Jaipur and certainly Varanasi. The same was with Nepal where we reched by car with our amazing driver! Mr Mithun. Pokhara and Kathmandu are the best. We also asked for local trekking arrangement in Pokhra and we were advised on it relates well. Our trekking guide was fantastic. So the tour was a success! We enjoyed a combination of tours arranged by Neeraj and our own free time to discover. I would definitely enlist Neeraj help again and definitely when I return to India and Nepal in the near future. Nepal and India tour

You only really find out how good a tour company is when things go wrong? Covid 19 was what went wrong with our tour. Who could foresee this? Mithun Swarma was our guide/chauffeur & I don’t know what we would have done without him. At all times he cared for us kept us safe & well on our wonderful tour. Our trip from Delhi through to Varanasi was expertly handled by Mithun. This part of the tour was as planned. When we reached Varanasi we found out that the Nepalese border was closed & we could go no further. Mithun then, expertly, drove us back to Delhi & then on to Dharamshala in the foothills of the Himalayas. This was definitely the, unplanned, highlight of our tour. Stunning scenery & delightful accommodation provided for us. Payless Tours were brilliant. I cannot thank Mithun enough. His English was excellent & at all times kept us informed about our changing situation (because of covid19) Our return flight (booked separately withAir India) was then cancelled. Mithun took us to a travel agent & stayed with us until we managed to find another flight (took ages) He is a remarkable man & Payless Tours are lucky to have him. Magnificent Tour

We had a blast with the tour. It was our first time to India and it had us in ore of just how much history there is to see. As you get to see all the places you just start to think that the rest of the world should come here and see and learn how to be happy with our lives. Every body here are so polite and happy and that's something appreciated. The tour was very well set up and accommodation was spot on. Our tour manager was very proffessional and checked in with us every day to make sure everything was perfect. And if we had any issues he was straight on to it and got it soughted straight away. Worth recommending tour operator

We traveled with Payless Tours through the Golden Triangle of India and Nepal. Prakash, was our personal driver, starting with a pickup at the airport. Is anyone is thinking of this trip, I would recommend you go soon as tourism has not picked up too much yet and the crowds are not there. We loved it. Everywhere we went, the people could not have been nicer. We became like celebrities with local people asking to take their pictures with us in them. Payless was very accommodating. We requested to stay at Heritage Hotels and this was arraigned. Do not even think of driving there. Prakash was an excellent driver and kept us safe. There are cows sleeping on the roads, Tuk Tuks, motorcycles with entire families on them and the occasional vehicle going the wrong way! We particularly liked the historical sites and there was not shortage of them. We would go into one and find it usually took 2 hrs to view as there was so much to see. Sometimes we were just tired and ready to pass on a set, but Prakash encouraged us rightly to go in and we were happy we did not miss it. We loved the monkey temples. The elephant ride and the Safari we took. This is really and ancient and gentile society that should be on everyone’s bucket list. The food was good and we were able to get very interesting non spicy varieties. We ate Indian and Nepalese everywhere. Having a driver was very helpful. Prakash took us right to the entry gate and was there when we departed. He certainly helped to make our trip memorable. He spoke good English. ...more ...less
