Today, you'll discover the significance of Chitwan National Park in preserving the endangered wildlife that is rapidly vanishing from our planet. As you journey through the park, you're almost certain to spot horned rhinos, egrets, woodpeckers, and deer in their natural habitat. Chitwan is home to a diverse range of species, including rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, and the nearly extinct Gangetic dolphins. You might also encounter various crocodile species, such as the harmless gharials, while bird enthusiasts will find delight in the 543 bird species present in the park, including the critically endangered Bengal florican, the vulnerable lesser adjutant, and the grey-crowned prinia.

Your day is packed with exciting activities that showcase the natural and cultural wonders of Chitwan. The Jeep Safari offers a traditional way to explore the jungle. Riding high in the jeep allows you to peer over the tall grasses, enhancing your chances of spotting wild animals as they roam through their habitat.

Following the safari, you'll visit a Tharu Village. The Tharu people, indigenous to the Terai region, have lived in harmony with the jungle and its wildlife for centuries. During this visit, you will have the chance to experience their vibrant culture and learn about their traditions, which include a unique relationship with the surrounding wilderness.

A Nature Walk is next on the agenda, where you'll explore the area on foot. Led by experienced guides, you’ll gain insights into the local flora and fauna, with opportunities to spot birds, plants, and even larger animals like rhinos and tigers. Walking through the jungle provides an intimate connection with nature and a closer look at the rich biodiversity of the park.

The day's adventure continues with a Canoeing Trip along the Rapti River in a handmade canoe. As you glide silently through the water, you’ll witness the river's serene beauty. Keep an eye out for the gharials and crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, as well as the many aquatic birds that thrive in this environment.

To conclude the day, you'll enjoy the Tharu Stick Dance, a traditional tribal dance performed by the Tharu men. Accompanied by rhythmic drumming and the clashing of sticks, this dance narrates how the villagers scare away rhinos and other wild animals from their settlements. An Experience to Cherish

06-Sep-2024

We were a group of 18 adults, averaging about 55 years old, with some of us doing the full Everest Base Camp trek and others opting for a shorter version. Planning started nearly a year in advance with Pradip Karki, who was incredibly patient and accommodating with all our questions and concerns. The entire trip was meticulously planned and executed, with almost everything running right on schedule. We had amazing guides with us, and nearly everyone had their own personal porter. I was fortunate enough to be paired with Kamal Puri as my assistant. At almost 65, I found it challenging to keep pace with the rest of the group, but Kamal pushed me and encouraged me every step of the way. Without his support, I don’t think I would have been able to complete the trek entirely on foot! Thank you, Pradip, and thank you, Kamal, for giving me the experience of a lifetime.

Awesom Trip

29-Aug-2024

I’d always wanted to check out the famous UNESCO sites in Kathmandu and finally got the chance. It was awesome! Kathmandu valley has so much to offer. After we were done, we hit the highway to Pokhara, one of the top tourist spots in Nepal. It looked beautiful with its sky and mountains. Sarangkot is the best spot to watch the sunrise! After that, we headed to Chitwan for some fun in the national park, and it was great!
