Day 1 : Arrive At Kathmandu.

Upon your arrival at the airport, a friendly Peregrine staff member will be waiting to greet you at the arrival terminal, holding a card with your name for easy identification. You will then be escorted to a private vehicle, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transfer to your hotel. Later in the evening, we will arrange a brief meeting to discuss the details of your upcoming trip, answer any questions you might have, and provide important information to help you prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2 : Drive Kathmandu To Besi Shahar By Hiace And Local Jeep To Pisang

We began our journey with a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar in a comfortable Hiace van. From Besisahar, we switched to an off-road drive towards Pisang, traveling through a trail that winds past stunning waterfalls, dense forests, and charming local villages, offering a glimpse of the region's natural beauty and cultural diversity.

Day 3 : Trek To Manang (3540M), 5 Hrs Walk.

After leaving Pisang, there are two alternate paths along the Marsyangdi River – the northern and southern routes, both meeting at Mungji. The southern route passes through Hongde, which has an airstrip at 3,325 meters and involves less climbing. However, the northern route via Ghyaru offers more spectacular views, despite being more challenging.
From Mungji, the trail continues past the charming yet partially hidden village of Bryanga, located at 3,475 meters, before reaching Manang at 3,500 meters. Walking through the valley in the drier upper part of Manang provides stunning views of the Annapurna range. Manang, known as the unofficial trekking capital of the Annapurna Circuit, is home to people who primarily herd yaks and cultivate crops. During the winter, the locals often relocate to other regions for trade.
Day 4 : Acclimatization Day At Manang (3540M)

Today, we dedicate our time to exploring the beautiful Manang Valley, allowing our bodies to rest and acclimatize for the challenging days ahead. We'll spend the day walking through the village, soaking in the stunning surroundings, and getting a closer look at the unique culture and lifestyle of the Manang people. Sightseeing in the valley during the daytime is also an excellent opportunity to gain some altitude, helping us adapt better for the higher elevations we will encounter in the coming days.
Day 5 : Trek To Yak Kharka (4090M), 5 Hrs Walk.

Leaving Manang, we begin our ascent along the Jarsang Khola Valley, steadily making our way toward higher elevations. As we climb, the vegetation becomes increasingly sparse, signaling the transition to the rugged alpine environment. Our journey brings us to Ledar at 4,250 meters, where we take a brief rest before continuing our trek. Finally, we arrive at Yak Kharka, situated at 4,090 meters, surrounded by stunning mountain views and the crisp, high-altitude air.
Day 6 : Trek To Thorong Phedi(4420M), 5 Hrs Walk.

As we descend the trail, we cross the river at an elevation of 4,310 meters. From here, the path ascends again, leading us to Thorong Phedi at 4,420 meters. Day 7 : Trek To Thorong La - La (Cross Over 5416M), Then Trek Down To Muktinath 3802M), An 8-9 Hrs Walk.

The day begins early as we set out from the base of the hill, making our way toward Thorung La Pass—the highest point of our 21-day Annapurna Circuit Trek. The trail to the pass is steep and rocky, requiring a steady pace as we ascend. Along the way, we are treated to incredible vistas of the surrounding peaks. The pass itself is marked by chortens and prayer flags, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. These magnificent views are sure to be etched into your memory.
After crossing Thorung La, we descend to the sacred site of Muktinath, situated at 3,800 meters. This revered place draws both Hindus and Buddhists, featuring a temple built in the traditional pagoda style dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known as Avalokiteshwara to Buddhists. For Hindus, Muktinath holds immense spiritual significance as a key pilgrimage destination. This long, challenging day proves to be one of the most rewarding experiences of our Annapurna Circuit Trek.
Day 8 : Drive To Tatopani (1,200M/3,937Ft): 4/5 Hours.

Day 9 : Trek To Ghorepani (2,850M/9,350Ft): 7 - 8 Hours.

Leaving Tatopani behind, we set off for Ghorepani. The trail leads us through lush forests filled with vibrant rhododendron blooms, gradually ascending as we leave the Kali Gandaki River valley. As we approach Ghorepani, the surroundings transform into a mix of terraced fields and dense woodland. Ghorepani, a quaint village primarily inhabited by the Gurung and Thakali communities, carries a unique charm. Its name, which means "water for horses," reflects its history as a vital rest stop where traders' horses would quench their thirst. This peaceful village offers not only cultural insight but also serves as a gateway to the breathtaking views that await at Poon Hill.
Day 10 : Trek To Poonhill (3210M) And After The Trek To Birethanti: 5-6 Hours.

This day is one of the highlights of your trek. You wake up early and embark on a one-hour climb to Poon Hill (3,210m) to catch the stunning sunrise over the towering Himalayas. From this vantage point, you are treated to breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna South (7,119m), Machapuchare (Fishtail) (6,993m), Nilgiri South, Singa Chuli, and Annapurna I (8,091m). After soaking in the majestic scenery, you descend to Ghorepani for a hearty breakfast. Following breakfast, the trail leads you downhill through enchanting rhododendron and oak forests, accompanied by the tranquil sound of flowing streams. A stop for lunch at Tikhedhunga refreshes you before continuing to Birethanti, where you catch a drive back to Pokhara.

Children under 18 are exempted from the vaccination requirement for foreign national travelers, given both the ineligibility of some younger children for vaccination, and the global variability in access to vaccination for older children who are eligible to be vaccinated.

How long do we walk per day during trek?
On a typical day, clients can expect to walk somewhere between 12 to 15 kilometers, though once we're above 3,000 meters the distances might be shorter in order to stay within safety limits regarding daily altitude gains.

For each of these requirements, air passengers will have to sign an attestation, certifying the validity of vaccination and testing, and confirming that their contact information is complete and accurate. Falsifying any information could result in criminal penalties

We recognise any vaccine that has been authorised for use by the relevant national authority for COVID-19 in the country where the vaccine was administered. This includes well known vaccines such as Oxford AstraZeneca, Pfizer-BioNtech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Covaxin.

Our trips are based on twin share accommodation. Most of our trips have Single Supplements available for solo travellers who wish to have their own room. We are working with our accommodation providers to ensure that more rooms are available for those travellers who wish to room alone.

You need to get visa to visit Nepal. You can apply the visa in your home country or obtain at the airport on arrival. To obtain visa on arrival, a passport size photo is required.

Transfer as credit to Future Tours
Peregrine Treks and Tours allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform peregrine treks and tours, 60 days before departure.

Low Deposit
Peregrine Treks and Tours requires a minimum deposit of 30% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.
