This is a delightful journey for travelers with limited time away from home yet who desire an in-depth safari experience. In just one week we touch upon nearly all the region’s highlights; Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Masai Mara Game reserve. All of Africa pulses with the sights and sounds of the last true paradise left on earth. But sometimes there can be more to a safari than just wildlife.

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi

Today our company representatives will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Emara Olesereni Hotel in Nairobi for your overnight. Depending on your time of arrival our team will be at hand to organise for you a Nairobi city tour or a short game drive to Nairobi National Park.
Day 2 : Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Location: Amboseli National Park

Rise early to enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Depart by road to Amboseli National Park. There you will experience your first game drive en-route to your lodge. The Park shelters more than 420 species of birds and has enormous Elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch is served at the lodge, before departing for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.
Day 3 : Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Amboseli for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon proceed for an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru National provides the excellent chance of seeing rhino as well as a rare species of Giraffe and other wildlife.
Day 4 : Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

Next, we overland to papyrus-fringed Lake Naivasha. With over 400 species of bird, this freshwater lake is a birding Paradise. Along the lake’s fabled waters, we are bound to see some of the area’s more intriguing species—hippos, giraffes, buffalo and even the arboreal colobus monkey. Lake Naivasha lies in the Great Rift Valley and the name derives from the local Masai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise. An optional boat ride on the lake reveals many water bird species and schools of Hippos.
Day 5 : Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve

We depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Masai Mara. This enormous Reserve actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. After lunch, explore the Reserve on a late evening game drive.
Day 6 : Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

The Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Morning and afternoon game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Residents among the parks mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both the Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles. Optional hot Air Balloon rides are available on this day at an additional cost. On this final day in the Mara, you also have an optional opportunity to visit an authentic Masai village.
Day 7 : Masai Mara National Reserve – Drive To Nairobi
Location: Nairobi
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Begin today with an early morning game drive followed by a complete English breakfast at your lodge. Mid-morning drive to Nairobi. Lunch en route.
The balance of the day is at leisure for last minute assisted shopping and sightseeing.
