Day 1 : Arrive Isle Of Man

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then we board the ferry to the Isle of Man*, and on to our hotel in Douglas for four nights.
Day 2 : Manx Electric And Mountain Railways
Location: Manx Electric Railway (Ramsey), Snaefell Mountain Railway Depot, Ramsey, Douglas

From Douglas, we enjoy a journey on the Manx Electric Railway, still operating with Victorian and Edwardian rolling stock. Built betwen 1893 and 1899 the line connects the capital Douglas with Laxey where we disembark.
At Laxey, we join the Snaefell Mountain Railway and journey to the summit. At 621 metres above sea level, Snaefell offers breath-taking, panoramic views where you can catch a glimpse of England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man and the kingdoms of heaven on a clear day!
We continue our day with a visit to Ramsey, the island's second town where we have some free time to explore before returning to Douglas.
Day 3 : Day At Leisure Or Peel

Relax in resort with a day at leisure in Douglas. The island's main commercial centre and home to the legislative buildings of its ancient parliament, Tynwald.
Enjoy the hotel’s facilities, or join our optional excursion to Peel, which has connections with the island’s rich Celtic, Viking, and maritime past. Try the world-famous Manx Kippers, eat some of the best ice-cream on the island or explore the magnificent ruins of Peel Castle - the choice is yours!
Day 4 : Isle Of Man Steam Railway And South Coast
Location: Isle of Man Steam Railway Museum, Cregneash, Castletown

Today we join the Isle of Man Steam Railway for a wonderfully nostalgic journey. It is the long narrow guage steam line in Britain and still uses its original locomotives and carriages that will carry you through the charming countryside to pretty Port Erin, where we explore the Port Erin Steam Museum.
Then we go on to enjoy the views of Cregneash before returning through Port St. Mary and Castletown.
Day 5 : Return Home
