Tour Overview

This 10 days Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek brings you into the heart of Nepal's Himalaya from the very being of the hike. With so many snow-capped peaks on the show, it is no surprise this one-week long trek is high on many trekkers’ itinerary. Whether trekking for a short vacation or traveling with families and children, Annapurna Base Camp trek is for everyone: the scenery is incredible, culture is engaging, teahouse house accommodation comfortable and hiking not too strenuous. From the Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), and Machhapuchhre Base Camp the views are of the stunning Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mount Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), (Tenth highest mountain in the world) and Annapurna III, amongst others. At the Annapurna Base Camp, there is a 360-degree panorama view of the south face of the Annapurna towering above. The Annapurna Base Camp trek trail passes through interesting Gurung and Magar villages and terraced farmland, giving an insight into how the local's peoples of this area live. Also, we walk through the rhododendron forests, passes and over Annapurna glacier rivers and beautiful waterfalls, and allows magnificent views of sheer cliffs with rivers running below. And of course, the mountains provide an awe-inspiring backdrop! With the highest point we reach at Annapurna Base Camp elevation at (4,130m), and a steady but gentle increase in elevation in the days proceeding, here is little likelihood of high altitude-related problems. This is also an almost an all-year-round trekking destination that fits into most trekkers’ Nepal schedule.

Highlights

  • 360-degree view of the Annapurna ranges, including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machapuchare & Gangapurna.

  • Experience the typical cultural Gurung village of Ghandruk and scenic with a close-up view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Fishtail.

Lovely teahouse accommodation in Annapurnas

09-Apr-2019

We did Annapurna Circuit Trek with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking . Very green, nice scenery, trek not too arduous. But it was damp when we went and there were leeches - lots of! As an introduction to trekking in Nepal it's probably the best trekking destination to go. If you can, stay at the Tea house/lodges - they're fantastic.
