Larkya Peak Climbing is situated in the Manaslu region that provides breathtaking trekking and Climbing experience around the Manaslu region. The Larkya Peak has two summits Sano Larkya Peak is 5807 meters and real summit Thulo Larkya 6249 meters. provide a magnificent view of Mt. Manaslu,( which is 8th highest peak in the world) Ganesh, Annapurna, Himlung Himal, and beyond. This Peak is one of the rarely climbed peaks in Nepal opened since 2,002 for climbers. Nepal mountaineering association (NMA) has graded Larkya Peak as an “A” category climbing peak in the Manaslu region of Nepal. It is the most satisfying peak to climb in conjunction with the Manaslu circuit trek and serves the dominating view of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh, Annapurna, Himlung Himal, and beyond. Besides Himalayas Views, Larkya Peak climbing offers a unique combination of rich cultural heritage, unrivaled natural beauty, and biological diversity. The Larke peak Climbing requires a good level of physical fitness and challenging with encounters of higher-level ice and glacier climb therefore needed middle base camp to be set up above base camp. Base Camp is close to Larkya La pass (5,106m), one of the challenging high pass in Nepal. Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu Sherpa Expedition and Trekking representatives will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. after check-in hotel You can either stay in the hotel and rest or you can Explore Thamel city. In the evening, we shall have a welcome dinner organized by Sherpa Expedition and Trekking.
Day 2 - Trip Preparation Day At Kathmandu.

Today we make the necessary preparations for this Larkya Peak Climbing. This preparation includes meeting with a Sherpa Climbing guide, checking necessary climbing equipment, permit and a trip briefing as well.
Day 3 : Drive From Kathmandu To Soti Khola (800M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.
Location: Sotikhola

Today after having breakfast, we will drive west along with Prithivi and Kalupandey Highway towards the village of Soti Khola, turning off towards the hilltop village of Dhading. We drive passes through rural communities, small towns, green terraces, and lush hillsides. The road will eventually become a Bumpy and dirt, we will start to see views of the southern part of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Himal. Finally, we will arrive at Soti Khola, located in the Budi Gandaki Valley. We will spend our night in Soti Khola at the local teahouse.
Day 4 : Trek From Soti Khola To Machha Khola (869M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Soti Khola, we will start our trek following the Budhi Gandaki River the trail up and downhill through various landscapes including forests, paddy fields, ridges and cliffs, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. Our journey begins by crossing a bridge before we trek through a forest. We will climb into a ridge above the wild rapids of Budhi Gandaki River. We will then reach Khursane on a rocky trail, past two tropical waterfalls, and we will eventually trek down past few paddy fields and continue up and around the Gurung Village of Labubesi. From Lapubesi, we will further climb over a side ridge and head along the shore until we reach the village of Machha Khola. We will spend overnight at teahouse.
Day 5 : Trek From Machha Khola To Jagat (1340M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Leaving Machhakhola, we will follow the gorge and continues up the river trail is narrow at first and gently heads up and down. We will be crossing the Tharo Khola to reach Khorlabesi. After climbing up and downhill, we will arrive at a small hot spring in Tatopani- a good place to take a break. From here we will climb over another ridge, then cross the Budhi Gandaki River. Then after, we will climb up a staircase and head over a ridge to Dobhan Village. We will have lunch here and after having lunch Similarly, crossing another suspension bridge over the Yaru Bagar, we will keep climbing up Tharo Bharyang. Then after crossing the west bank of Budhi Gandaki, We will trek along the river and then climb towards reach the village of Jagat. We spend overnight at teahouse.
Day 6 : Trek From Jagat To Deng (2300M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

From Jagat, we will make our way through various landscapes and dense forests, small rivers, rustic villages to reach our final destination. we will climb to Salleri and then trek down to Sirdibas. The path continues to Ghatta Khola. We will continue trekking upstream to a long suspension bridge at Philim, a large Gurung Village. Our trail enters a steep uninhabited gorge towards the tiny village of Deng. This region is known as Kutung. We will spend our night at the teahouse.
Day 7 : Trek From Deng To Namrung (2700M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After having breakfast, We will follow up and down the hill towards Ghap- a small village of five or six stone houses famous for Buddhist Mani walls with distinctive carvings of Buddha. The trail ascends making a long climb through bamboo and rhododendron filled forest to Namrung. This village is a small village with lovely stone houses and a police check post as well. We spend our night at Namrung village.
Day 8 : Trek From Namrung To Shyala (3500M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Namrung, we will trek towards the Nupri Region which is inhabited by descendants of Tibetan immigrants. After passing through the villages of Barcham, Li, and Sho- the trail finally emerges on to a plateau of Shyala village. From here we can see the most magnificent view sites in the Himalayas with wide vistas of Himal Chuli and Mt Manaslu. We will spend the overnight in Shyala at teahouse.
Day 9 : Trek From Shyala To Samagaon (3530M) Duration: 2 Hours.

From Shyala, today is short and easy day trek. After having breakfast we leave Shya and follow the trail that crosses the ridge. Then after we enter and then exit a side canyon. From there we climb across the rocky slope to emerge on to a ridge overlooking the extensive pastures and fields of Samagaon. This village is one of the big villages in the Manaslu region. We will spend our night at Samagaon at the teahose.
Day 10- Acclimatization Day At Samagaon

Today is set aside to rest and acclimatize to the increasing altitudes to adjust your body in high altitudes. This day we stay in Samagaon and explore the surrounding areas or visit Birendra Tal and hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa. The main interesting point of the day is the Pungyen Gompa with a magnificent view of the glaciers but it rather logs day only recommended for the fit trekkers. It is located on a hill near Samagaun. We hike up to the Gompa named after the two peaks of Manaslu which means bracelet. It was destroyed when the Japanese first tried to climb the peaks. It was believed that the expedition to reach the summit might have angered the Gods. After the detour, we return back to Samagaon and we will stay for a night.
Day 11 : Trek From Samagaun To Samdo (3860M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

After breakfast, we start our trek following the Budhi Gandaki River up to a stream which we cross on a suspension bridge. After, we take the trail on the right to Larkya la. It is a fairly easy path, passing through Mani stones, Mani walls, and juniper and birch forests. We again cross a wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki and continue trek to a stone arch, we can see a Kani and after crossing it, we arrive Samdo where we spend the night. We will stay in Samdo at teahouse.
Day 12 - Acclimatization Day At Samdo

Today is necessary for us to take another acclimatization day before heading higher elevation more than 4500m. We will prepare for the next day for crossing Larke La pass elevation at 5106 m. While at Samdo, we should consider hiking up the slopes to the north for some great view of the entire Manaslu range.

Day 13 : Trek From Samdo To Dharamasala (4480M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

We start our day journey by crossing a wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki River and starting a hike upwards. After passing a few streams and seeing a glimpse of the Larkya glacier, we will go around a valley and make our trail upwards again to reach a guesthouse place called Dharmashala. Today is a short trek to Larke Phedi provides enough time and rest to acclimatize for the next day to cross Larkya La Pass.
Day 14 : Trek From Samdo To Larke Peak Base Camp (5135M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

Today we have a short four to five-hour trek to Larke Peak Base Camp where we will stay overnight at tent camp. It is this progressive climbing in small increments that helps us to overcome altitude sickness.
Day 15 & 16 - Climbing Period And Preparation.

Before the actual climb, your guide will prepare you by going over safety procedures and the use of roping techniques. The prevailing weather conditions will greatly influence the climb to the peak. However, it is in your best interest that you are prepared for any eventuality. Your day on the peak will be the highlight of this trek. The physical exertion on getting to the peak will be rewarded by some of the most jaw-dropping views of the surrounding peaks. These memories will stay with you for a lifetime.
Day 17 : Trek From Larke Peak Base Camp To Bimtang (3800M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After summit Larkya Peak, we will descend to Bimtang, a well-known trading post along the Tibetan salt route. An appealing detour leads to a trail above Bimtang to the translucent glacial lake of Pungkar Tal (4100m). We will stay overnight at Bimtang. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.
Day 18 : Trek From Bimtang To Dharapani (1963M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Leaving Bimtang we will descend down through pine and rhododendron forest to Hompuk. From there we will continue trek down towards the fork of Dudh Khola. Then after our trail can be a little difficult to follow as we head across some large landslides to arrive at the scattered settlements of Karche. We will trek downhill slope to the large Gurung village of Tilije. Then after We cross a long suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River to reach Dharapani. We will stay in Dharapani at teahouse.
Day 19 : Trek From Dharapani To Syange (1100M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After having breakfast, we will follow the trail that climbs up and away from Marsyangdi River. We will continue trek ahead through the broad and flat valley towards a village of Tal. The village is located at the foot of a large fountain. We will continue towards Chamje and trek down through the forest we will reach village called Syange.
Day 20 : Drive From Syange To Besisahar & To Kathmandu; Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After completing our Larkya Peak Climbing, we will drive from Syange back to Kathmandu. At first, the drive may not seem pleasant because of the bumpy roads until Beshisahar. When reach Besi Sahar we will catch up with the man highway, we will love the roadside scenery along the riverbank. We have a short drive to Besisahar and then a road trip back to Kathmandu. On arrival, you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 21 - Final Departure Day.

Today is your last day in Nepal you will drive to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight departure. Sherpa Expedition and Trekking team will then share our goodbyes and wish you a safe flight back home. With this, the trip concludes and you come to an end of the Larkya Peak Climbing.
