The Manaslu Tsum Valley Trekking takes us on an adventure as we've never seen before. It represents a journey to some of the most enchanting, alluring, and magnificent High Himalaya peaks and mountainscapes around Manaslu and combines it with the magical scenes of(Hidden Valley) Tsum Valley. Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest peak in the world, is sure to be one of the main highlights of our Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek. The Tibetan Buddhist charm of Tsum Valley is incredibly refreshing as well. We start our journey, drive to ASoti Khola from Kathmandu where the trek starting point. Passing through terraced fields and beautiful small villages, we trek past Budhi Gandaki River reaching the village of Machhakhola. Then trek to Tatopani crosses forests and small villages bestow a hot spring bath to relax a few times. The Stunning Views of Mt. Sringi Himal accompanies us on the way to Philim. Trekking through Chumling we arrive Chhokangparo in the Upper Tsum Valley with magnificent views of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Boudha Himal, and Mt. Himal Chuli. In the trail to Nile/Chhule, we pass through Piren Phu (pigeon cave), a sacred destination that preserved Buddhist murals, scripts, and old carved stones where we stop for visit. Then after we stop in Mu Gompa at 3700m from where we trek to Rachen Gompa, a nunnery. The trek to Gumba Lungdang passes through pine and colorful rhododendron forests and we cross the Siyar Khola. If you have enough time you can take a rest to visit Ganesh Himal Base Camp. The trail to Chumling, our next day destination has no proper lodging or facilities, so we start early. From Chumling to Deng, we trek through Gurung and Thakali villages. At Samagaon, we take a rest for another day and hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungiyan Gompa trip and explore the village. We gradually gain altitude from Samagaon to Samdo, Dharmasala, and cross the Larke La pass at 5106m to arrive Bhimtang which marks the end of the trip. Then after we will begin our journey back passing through Bashisahar and back to Kathmandu.

Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. At outside the Airport Terminal, a representative of Sherpa Expedition and Trekking cordially receives you and transfers to a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu at Thamel, backpackers colorful market. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Sherpa Expedition and Trekking office for a guide introduction and final brief trip information about the trek. In the evening, explore the tourist hub, Thamel.
Day 2 : Drive From Kathmandu To Sotikhola (7,10M) Duration: 7-8 Hours.

Today after breakfast, we will start our journey to Soti Khola. We will take a drive from Kathmandu to SotiKhola on a nice, paved road enjoying the views of the hilly areas, terraces, fields, and rivers. Arughat is a little rough one on rocky trails. From Arughat one an half hour drive to reach SotiKhola, we will stay in Soti Khola at tea house.
Day 3 : Trek From Sotikhola To Machhakhola (8,70M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After having breakfast, we start our day early to reach our destination which will take about 5-6 hours. After we crossing the suspension bridge of SotiKhola, we trek through Sal forests to reach a ridge above the splashing rapids of the Budhi Gandaki River. Afterward, the path becomes rocky, passing through beautiful waterfalls and cliffs. We will have lunch at Lapubesi which is a beautiful Gurung village in this region. Then after we climb behind a rocky cliff where the valley opens up. Trekking through a sandy river bed, climbing over stone ridges, and then again trek down to the river and crossing the old suspension bridges. We arrive at MachchaKhola village and we will stay at teahouse.
Day 4 : Trek From Machhakhola To Jagat (1340M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After breakfast, we leave Machhakhola, we follow a narrow path that takes us to Tharo Khola, and finally, we reach Khorlabesi. Afterward, a few ascends and descends, we arrive at a popular hot-spring at Tatopani. Then we will spend some time here and can enjoy the natural sauna in the hot -spring and relieve all our tiredness and stress of the trek. After spending a few times at hot spring we climb another ridge and pass the Budhi Gandaki on another side of a suspension bridge. Then after we climb a staircase and then cross a landslide and a ridge to reach Doban village. We will have lunch at Dovan village and again we climb the stone staircase then go down to the river and climb some stairs again to reach Thado Bharyang. Afterward, we cross the west bank of Budhi Gandaki River, climb over a ridge, trek along the river to reach the Jagat village. We will stay in Jagat at the teahouse.
Day 5 : Trek From Jagat To Lokpa (2040M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After breakfast, we will follow the path that again climbs over the rocky ridge to Salleri village and then trek down to Sardibas. We will trek to continue ahead of the wide, we will find the valley towards Philim. Phidim we will move towards north passing through Chisapani. Then after we will start walking through the dense forest for a few hours to reach Lokpa. from here we can see a stunning view of Himalchuli and Buddha Himal. We stay overnight at Lokpa.
Day 6 : Trek From Lokpa To Chumling (2363M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Lokpa, after breakfast, we will trek along the trail that descends pass towards Lungwa Khola. From here we will trek down through the dense forest of Rhododendron, pine, and Brich towards Gumling. We will continue the trek through Shiar River until we reach Chumling. The old Chumling Gompa and age-old stone-paved streets of the village will remain in our hearts. We stay overnight at Chumling.
Day 7 : Trek From Chumling To Chhokangparo (3010M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Chumling, we will trek a bit longer. we will trek towards Gho village. We trek along with the path that smoothly climbing towards the village. Then we will trek continue our uphill climbing as long as we reach Chhokangparo. This is a truly typical Tibetan Buddhist village. There are mainly two settlements: Chhokang and Paro. We will stay overnight Chhokangparo. On this day we will be able to see the view of Mt. Himalchuli and Mt. Ganesh Himal.
Day 8 : Trek From Chhokangparo To Chhule/Nile (3361M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Chhokangparo, We will follow the path that climbing up to the Rachen Gompa. After exploring the gompa, we will trek towards the Nile. We will pass through a suspension bridge over Shair River and continue trekking through several villages. We will walk through the villages of Ngakyu, Leru, Lama Gaun, Burji, Phurbe, Pangdun and Finally we will reach the Nile for a night stay. Milarepa Cave on the trail is fascinating and must do a trek. Milarepa cave is also known as Pigeon Cave. It is believed that St. Milarepa, a famous Tibetan Saint, had meditated in this cave. We stay overnight at the Nile.
Day 9 : Trek From Nile To Mu Gompa (3700M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast, we will trek along the west bank of the valley close to the Tibetan border. We climb up to Mu Gompa and also explore Dhephu Doma Gompa. Mu Gompa is the largest Gompa in this region that lies at the highest and remote part of Tsum Valley trek. We stay overnight at Mu Gompa.
Day 10 : Trek From Mu Gompa To Rachen Gompa (3240M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast, we will trek down the valley through Chhule. We will continue to walk on the east bank of Shiar River and then cross flat boulder covered plains that lead us to Rachen Gompa. Along the trail, we will find ruins of several ancient gompas. We stay overnight at Rachen Gompa.
Day 11 : Trek From Rachen Gompa To Chumling (2385M) Duration: 7-8 Hours.

Leaving Rachen Gompa, The hike down to Chumling will take around 7-8 hours. Chumling is a big village in this area. We stay overnight at Chumling
Day 12 : Trek From Chumling To Deng (1860M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Chumling, We will trek downhill today with a beautiful view of Mt Ganesh Himal and Manaslu accompanying us. where you will have lunch and we will continue our trip from a steep gorge and then descend through grassy slopes to cross the Budhi Gandaki River and then cross bridges from west to east bank and back again. The trail widens, we pass through bamboo forests to reach the Deng Khola. After crossing the Deng Khola, we reach the tiny Deng village where we spend the night.
Day 13 : Trek From Deng To Namrung (2,630M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Today we take a brief trek from Deng and then we cross the Budhi Gandaki and hike up to reach Rana village. From Rana village, we climb for a while and then head west to Budhi Gandaki valley. The path passes through Bamboo forests and painted Mani stones, Mani walls, and we will reach Ghap. Then after we take the trail through Prok village which allows us to witness the stunning view of Siring Himal. Afterward, We follow the river, passing it at many places, and pass through dense forests and Gompas along the route. After we crossing the river at a gorge, the path becomes leveled and after a last steep climb, we will arrive at Namrung village. We will stay in Namrung Village at the teahouse.
Day 14 : Trek From Namrung To Lho (3,180M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast, we start our trek from Namrung a steep climb, and passing through forests take us to Lihi, a village well known for its chortens and barley terraces. Then after we cross the side valley of Simnang, we pass through Sho and then arrive Lho, we will have lunch at Lho and Late afternoon explore the local monastery (Lho Gompa) we will stay in Lho at the teahouse.
Day 15 : Trek From Lho To Samagaun (3,500M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

After breakfast we start our trek from Lho to crossing the Shyala village, we reach the Sama village where one gets to witness the amazing views of Mt. Manaslu and explore the famous Ribung Gompa. The breathtaking view of the high mountains along with Manaslu glaciers is the highlight of the trip. We stay in Samagaon at the teahouse.
Day 16 - Acclimatizing Day At Samagaun.

Today is set aside to rest and acclimatize to the increasing altitudes to adjust your body in high altitudes. This day we stay in Samagaon and explore the surrounding areas or visit Birendra Tal and hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa. The main interesting point of the day is the Pungyen Gompa with a magnificent view of the glaciers but it rather logs day only recommended for the fit trekkers. It is located on a hill near Samagaun. We hike up to the Gompa named after the two peaks of Manaslu which means bracelet. It was destroyed when the Japanese first tried to climb the peaks. It was believed that the expedition to reach the summit might have angered the Gods. After the detour, we return back to Samagaon and we will stay for a night.
Day 17 : Trek From Samagaun To Samdo (3860M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

After breakfast, we start our trek following the Budhi Gandaki River up to a stream which we cross on a suspension bridge. After, we take the trail on the right to Larkya la. It is a fairly easy path, passing through Mani stones, Mani walls, and juniper and birch forests. We again cross a wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki and continue trek to a stone arch, we can see a Kani and after crossing it, we arrive Samdo where we spend the night. We will stay in Samdo at teahouse.
Day 18 : Trek From Samdo To Dharamasala (4480M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

We start our day journey by crossing a wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki River and starting a hike upwards. After passing a few streams and seeing a glimpse of the Larkya glacier, we will go around a valley and make our trail upwards again to reach a guesthouse place called Dharmashala. Today is short trek to Larke Phedi provides enough time and rest to acclimatize for the next day to cross Larkya La Pass.
Day 19 : Cross The Larke Pass (5213M) Trek Down To Bimtang (3720M) Duration: 8-9 Hours.

Today after breakfast, early morning we make a short climb and reach an Again we ascend the moraines of a glacier which becomes quite steep at the end before reaching the pass. From Larkya La pass we can enjoy the breathtaking views of Himlung, Cheo, Kanggru, and the Annapurna. Today is a longer walk than other days and we reach the guesthouse among the low pastures at the dim lights of dusk. After Larkya La pass we descend to reach our final destination Bhimtang, the exquisite view of Mount Manaslu makes every step worth it. We will stay in Bhimthang at the teahouse.
Day 20 : Trek From Bimtang To Tilije (2300M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After enjoying the magnificent views of the mountains from a ridge in Bhimtang, we trek down towards a high pasture and then a bridge over Dudh Khola. We trek through rhododendron forests, narrow valleys, and fields before making a climb to the river bank that leads to the beautiful village of Gho. After a short walk takes us to Tilije with better accommodation options where we stay the night. We will stay in Tilije at the teahouse.
Day 21 : Trek From Tilije To Dharapani & Drive To Besishar (8,23M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After having breakfast, we trek in a stone-paved path passing through a beautiful village and then cross a suspension bridge over Dudh Khola, move past an arch and Mani walls to get to the Thonje village. After crossing through a police checkpoint we trek towards Dharapani from where we enter the Annapurna circuit trek. From here we take a sharing Jeep to Beishar. Which takes 4-5 hours. We will stay in Besisahar at the hotel.
Day 22 : Drive From Beshisahar To Kathmandu (1,350M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After breakfast, we drive along the banks of Marsyangdi River and Trishuli River, witnessing the beautiful scenery of rice fields, terraced farms, rivers and valleys and refreshing green views of the hilly areas and mountains. After a six hours’ journey we reach Kathmandu. where you spend the last night in Nepal you can do some shopping around Thamel tourist hub. You will stay in Kathmandu at 3-star hotel.
Day 23 - Final Departure Day.
