The Pikey Peak trail is the newly opened trekking route in the lower Everest region, a combination of the east to west. This trek offers a dramatic exploration of Everest. Pikey Peak Trek routes follow the less crowded area from Jiri, Chaulakharka, Ngaur till reach to Pikey hill. From here, one can see the various magnificent mountains over 8,000 meters including Mount Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt.Manaslu, Mt. Annapurna, and many other snow-clad peaks. This peak is popular for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset Himalayas views and we can take pleasure in the stunning sight of the peaks beyond the Kathmandu city to the plains along with lots of mountains range. Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

Our departure representative will be at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. You will be transferred to the hotel and Sherpa Expedition and Trekking representative will help you until check-in at the Hotel. In the evening, join our welcome dinner program organized by Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team.
Day 2 : Ek From Ghunsa To Pattale (2840M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Today after breakfast, we will trek on an easy trail that passes through several monasteries, prayer flags, prayer wheels, and mani walls. At the village of Kerung we will make a visit to some of the ancient monasteries and explore Buddhist stupa. Along this trail, we will get a chance to interact with local peoples like Tamang, Magar, and Sherpa community backgrounds. We will continue trek reach at Pattale. We will spend our night at Pattale village.
Day 2 : Fly From Kathmandu To Phaplu (2470M) & Trek To Salleri (2,390M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Today after breakfast, we will take a flight to Phaplu which takes approximately 35 minutes. After reach at Phaplu, we will start our trek to Salleri where we can explore around the busy local market and make visits to Buddhist monasteries such as the Chewang monastery. We will stay in Salleri at the homestay.
Day 3 : Trek From Salleri To Ghunsa (2250M) Via Dorpu: Duration: 5-6 Hours.
Location: Ghunsa

After h=breakfast, we will follow the trail that passes through several cultural and traditional small villages inhabited by Tamang, Magar, and Sherpa tribe communities of Lower Khumbu region. During this trek, we will have magnificent views of the surrounding Himalayas and beautiful landscapes. Then after will continue our walking until we arrive at Ghunsa. We will stay in Ghunsa at local homestay.
Day 5 : Trek From Pattale To Jhapre (2820M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.
Location: Jhapre

After breakfast, we will trek explore the rich flora and fauna of the region. This region is rich with wild orchids offering hikers an awesome feeling for hikers while hiking in pikey peak. Then after we pass through additional monasteries and Buddhist stupas. After we reach Jhapre, we will see the traditional and cultural local performance in Jhapre which is definitely the best way to understand the local culture of this region.
Day 6 : Trek From Jhapre To Pikey Peak (4065M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Today, we will follow the route that heads hiking up into the alpine vegetation. Gradually walking we will hike through monasteries dating back to hundreds of years old, Buddhist stupas, and mani walls. We will continue to follow our trek through several yak herding open fields with great views of the surrounding peaceful environment. We will spend our night at Pikey peak at the homestay/tent camp.
Day 7 : Trek From Pikey Peak To Junbesi (2700M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

The Pikey peak base camp is one of the best spots to witness the sunrise and sunset view. Today, we will wake up early for the stunning sunrise view over Himalayan Ranges from Mount Kanchenjunga to Mount Dhaulagiri as well as World's highest peak mount Everest. After spending a sometime in the morning, we will trek downhill through the scenic landscapes and scattered settlements to arrive at Junbesi. We will spend our night in Junbesi at Local homestay.
Day 8 : Trek From Junbesi To Phaplu (2470M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Junbesi we will start our trek following the path that is an easy downhill trekking. Today is the last day of our Pikey peak trek, therefore we will take it easy and try to enjoy every bit of our Pikey peak trek. After five hours of walk we will reach Phaplu we will celebrate the end of our trek with tasty local food and the Sherpa cultural program. We will spend our night at Phaplu.
Day 9 : Fly From Phaplu To Kathmandu (1,350M) Duration: 35 Minutes Flight.

After breakfast, we will take a short scenic flight from Phaplu back to Kathmandu which takes about 35 minutes. After arriving at Kathmandu, you can take a rest in your hotel or do sightseeing around Kathmandu valley before heading back to your home.
Day 10 - Final Departure Day.

Today is your last day in Nepal you will drive to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight departure. Sherpa Expedition and Trekking team will then share our goodbyes and wish you a safe flight back home. With this, the trip concludes and you come to an end of the Pikey Peak Trek.

Sherpa Expedition & Trekking requires a minimum deposit of 30% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.
